I finally looked at the Baileys Women's Prize longlist today, and despite owning several of these, I haven't read a single one. So I've decided to read through the longlist in its entirety because you can never have too many books by women.

This is my first time reading Sarah's Scribbles and I loved it. The self-esteem issues, social anxiety and tendency to overthink resonated with me so much. There were numerous times I laughed out loud which is always a good sign! I would definitely recommend this.

Where has Octavia Butler been all my life? I could not put this down. I still feel like I'm there. This was amazing and feels. . . Necessary, somehow. Wow.
