Been wanting to read this epic tale but still waiting to be in the right mood to fully enjoy the writing. And I‘m still looking through different translations to find the one that suit me. I don‘t want to rush but slowly enjoy every details of it .

For me, every book is beautiful and this is one of them, beautiful both inside and out 😍 Read it last year (wish I read it earlier) & it has such an impact on me! Tolstoy‘s writing about Life, Love, Death & Politics are insightful & beautiful, so relatable despite it was written hundred years ago. And this #VintageClassics is so gorgeous!

Simona If you have time in your reading life, and if you read nonfiction - his nonfiction works are almost more interesting than his fiction books. Great look in his thought process, his spiritual journey, politics, society, religion ... 5y

Jane Eyre is definitely one of my favorite books& I only read it few years ago! But its changed my view about Classics! Didn't know I like them til I read them. #True

Don't be fooled by the genre of this book or its size. It's actually very readable despite the fact that it's a Classics ...and very enjoyable with lots of characters, some you love & adore (& they might NOT be the one on the title😬) and some you hate 😩

Erinsuereads Good lord I don‘t know if I could make it all the way through without dying. His voice is my favorite. He does a documentary called South Pacific on Netflix that is fabulous. And if you do one thing today it should be to look up the graham norton special discussing him saying the word penguin 🐧 😂💜🤦🏻‍♀️ 6y
