EadieB He'll take the ferry over and work 7 days a month in order to retire at 20 years with benefits. The plot is clever with terrific characters. If you like humor and wit with your mystery thriller then you will love this book. I'm now looking forward to the next Sean Duffy book. I hope we don't have to wait 6 years for that one! Highly recommend! 2mo

EadieB This was an action-packed thriller with interesting characters. The page-turner plot was very entertaining. There were twists and turns that I did not see coming that pushed things over the edge. If you like action thrillers then you would enjoy this one. 2y

MicheleinPhilly @eanderson Exactly. And I‘m hoping that a ticket purchase allows you to watch video of the panels after the fact. I‘m working on Thursday and Friday and going for my 2nd jab on the 10th. If we can watch the panels later I may just do that in bed all day Sunday. 4y

Cuban cop Mercado is on her way to Colorado to avenge her father‘s death. Her deadbeat dad skipped out of Cuba and settled in a ski resort popular with the Hollywood set such as; Tom Cruise & Kevin Spacey. I found this book to be an interesting debut for Adrian McKinty. I liked the colorful characters and Mercado‘s fortitude in overcoming obstacles. The Sean Duffy series is still a favorite but I would recommend this to those who love thrillers.

The Chain is one of those white-knuckle, stay-up-till-3 a.m. thrillers that keeps you reading feverishly because you just need to know how this one plays out. Part of the appeal lies in a fiendishly clever and original premise, a premise Adrian McKinty plots out flawlessly.
