pickWe read this out loud in high school English class, and we had a lot of fun with it. Each student picked a character, and some pf us were quite passionate about it. I think I liked being the old man. It was still a trial of a murderer, so it was still dark, but it was still a good book.

pickThis was on my #Bookspinbingo list for the month, but when I went to read it, it turns out I never got around to buying it. Fortunately, Hoopla bailed me out with an audio recording of a play production! The play is as solid as I remember it! The cast is great and I love the tension between the characters as they debate a man‘s guilt or innocence!
pickShort, impressive, and intense - that's what this text is. This play drew me more in than many other books I'm reading right now. I was stunned, I felt helpless, angry, too. And I kept asking myself, what would I do, if I was in this situation? Rose asks so many ethical questions, that are still discussed in the 21. century. I want to watch the movie now as well, of course.

pickThis was really good. I'm not really a fan of reading plays, this one was a bit harder to read because the characters are only numbered "juror one", "juror two"... But I did enjoy reading it. Although it is set in 1957 I think it is still relevant today.

Tagged is for my friend's book club (#RtC) that I read along with. Well, actually they read it last month. 🙃 I'm going to try to finish it this week, which should be pretty easy. Then it's time to live vicariously through NPH. I picked up my copy at Dollar Tree, and it's signed. 😯 Looking forward to it, could use a laugh lately.

pickAn interesting discussion on the power of peer pressure and persuasion. With the exception that the jury is all male, it has held up well over the years and is still very relevant today. This was a taped performance by L.A. Theater Works. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
