Bryn is in a terrible car crash that leaves the driver.dead and goes to live with her new husband once she‘s out of the hospital to convalesce. (They live in different towns.) Things seem ok until a local woman is murdered and Bryn learns maybe she doesn‘t know her husband very well. I enjoyed this mystery—I thought it was well-crafted with a good number of red herrings. I would definitely read White again.

My blog is “made up of” suspense so I randomly chose Kate White‘s book as my feature.

THE SECRETS YOU KEEP was q​uite a good mystery with most characters not being trustworthy and others who were caught in the middle of the deceit.

Ms. White did it again with another splendid mystery that has plenty of intrigue.

This was just ok for me. It started out slow and didn‘t really grab my attention until I was about 3/4 finished. The main character annoyed me and the ending was just whatever. 🌟🌟🌟

Meh. This one was just ok. There was something about the writing that bothered me. The story wasn‘t bad. But it wasn‘t great either. Just... meh.

I love a good Kate White book. You pretty much always know who the killer is by halfway through, but it doesn't mean they're a bad read.

She & Guy, her husband, move into a new house, & he becomes secret & evasive. And disturbing incidents begin occurring. Then the woman catering their dinner party is killed.
