Jean Meltzer‘s characters are so easy to fall for! Loved reading a book that blended sex positivity and religion. The chronic illness representation was also top notch. Overall a sweet story (pun wasn‘t intended but now it is!)

A sweet romance novel with #Kiss in its title. I read this last month & really enjoyed it. 💙🩵💙

This is the third book of the author‘s I have read & possibly my favorite. She creates characters that are easy to fall for & romance that isn‘t too light. In this case it‘s Avi & Ethan, from rival Jewish baking families when Ethan is sent (blackmailed) by his grandfather to steal Avi‘s family‘s famed pumpkin babka recipe. Avi suffers from severe chronic pain from interstitial cystitis & Ethan has ⬇️

This week was long & tiring so I treated myself to some self-care & a #HyggeMoment & had a leisurely & delicious breakfast while running my errands. Mexican Street Avocado Toast & Potato-Ulu Rostini (ulu is breadfruit & they combine it with potato in these crispy hash browns). Got a bit more of the tagged book I started on Wednesday in. It‘s a sweet romance & I am enjoying it as I have the author‘s other books.💙
Headed over to Hilo for the day at the butt crack of dawn to teach a leadership class. It will be a long day. Got my coffee & breakfast sammie & thinking of starting this one since it‘s a library e-book hold. Inter-island flights are about 45 minutes of reading time. 😉
This was lovely on #audio. A complicated couple, both dealing with past trauma, trying to find their way to each other. I learned a lot about chronic pain, baking, and the Jewish faith and traditions and enjoyed the characters and their story. I wouldn‘t call this lighthearted, but I do recommend it! #DashingDecember #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks @Andrew65
Cute and funny. Loved the family bakery atmosphere. I‘m Jewish so enjoyed the funny references. I did find the subject manner of Avital‘s chronic pelvic pain to be an odd topic for a book and some of the description was alittle too detailed though.
I really loved this book! The combination of Jewish culture and chronic pain management (two things I'm new to) made for interesting reading, and Ethan and Avi's romance had me HOOKED. So tender! So sweet! We love breaking cycles and romcom hijinks!! #contemporaryromance #romcom
Her first book was hilarious. This one is not. But, this one is utterly touching. And hopefully.
A throughly delightful book about loving yourself and those around you and how important family is! Plus, the bakery setting had my mouth watering with every page!!
The feud between the Lippmanns and the Cohens because of their bakery, Best Babka Bakery in Brooklyn, still continued after all of these years.
KISSING KOSHER was a delightful, entertaining read with some nice surprises. You will love all the characters.

The feud between the Lippmanns and the Cohens because of their bakery, Best Babka Bakery in Brooklyn, still continued after all of these years.
The feud was because Chayim Lippman claims Moishe stole the pumpkin-spiced babka recipe from him.
A delightful, entertaining read with some nice surprises. You will love all the characters.
It was also educational for me as I learned about the Jewish culture and customs. 5/5
I loved the characters – Avital, Ethan, Ethan‘s brother Randy, ex-con baker Tootles, Josh, and hippie Rabbi Jason. They seemed so real with their emotions and their flaws, people you would want in your life. The family dramas are real. I am sure they will remind us of all of a family we know.
