Challenge is almost over! #ssrc what did everyone read?
I‘m running a summer reading program for staff in my library system this year and it has been going really well. People are reading such a wide variety of titles! Here‘s a word cloud of the 641 titles submitted in the first 4 weeks of the program. The most frequently read books are Lessons in Chemistry, Hello Beautiful, The Ancient Magus‘ Bride, and Tsubasa.
Thank you @BookwormAHN !!!! I love it all!! Im really excited about the coffee! Perfect for the cozy mystery! Thank you again!! #litsovesummerswap #llss
Love this idea!
Now I want to start my own brain freeze book club. Any Littens in the Central Florida area care to meet up at an ice cream shop & chat books?

I tag @NataliePatalie.
When you‘re browsing Book Depository‘s sale section late at night, during a time that involves a pandemic and distance learning, things happen. 🤦🏼♀️😆
My phone highlighted that I took this four years ago and I like to think that the person in the photo might still be reading in that same spot, four summers and countless books later. ☀️☀️
Another fun month #SongsOfSummer hosted by @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks and @OriginalCyn620
Thank you for making each month so fun!
Here is my stack for #14books14weeks. The two on the right, I need to get from the library. Here‘s hoping I get through them all.
This is way late, but whatever! 😁
1. Sleeping late and more reading time!!
2. Not really excited, but The Testaments, the sequel to The Handmaid‘s Tale, is coming out. The one I‘m excited about and that I believe was originally scheduled for summer is the 3rd Scythe Book, but it‘s been pushed to November 😢.
3. Fresh fruit
4. 109 F. We also have the distinction of an average of 74 days per year—EVERY year—at 90 or above! 😭😓🌞🔥

What a beautifully told story. Both unsettling and breathtaking. Will definitely read more by this author.

I don‘t know who you are but thank you I can‘t wait to open it #funinthesunsummerbookexchange @BookaholicNatty
If you‘re in the mood for an angsty, do-we-divorce book, this is one of the better ones. It‘s a storyline I come back to sometimes. I realized I had read the book before about 5 chapters in, but I kept reading anyway. Overall pretty okay. A mediocre recommend if you‘re in the mood. I‘m glad I got it from Book Outlet.
#truth That‘s why I‘m not on Facebook! I got tired of having a fake life.
The summer is flying by! What's the best book you've read this summer? ⛱☀️🏄🏽♀️
Thanks @emilyhaldi !!! Can you believe all these goodies. And the notes she wrote in each book!! I can not express my gratitude! YOU ARE AWESOME!! Thank @BookishMarginalia this is so fun!!!
Not sure if this was meant as farce or melodrama. Perhaps the author wasn't sure either. I felt like I never learned much about the characters, except for the fact that they were all perpetually horny and melancholy. No twists, no revelations.
