Let the #hyggehour begin! I have cranberry pomegranate tea and cookies shaped like groundhogs. It looks like work might finally calm down this week so this Sunday isn‘t as scary as they usually are. Maybe by this time next week I will have finally finished Sense And Sensibility??

It‘s #hyggehour time! The best hour of the week. I‘m brewing cinnamon pear tea and catching up on these two books. Next week is sure to be chaotic. I‘m glad I‘m kicking it off with an hour just for me.

The whole family trecked up to York, PA for a field hockey tournament, and made it home just in time for my hygge hour. I‘m nervous that everyone at work will be back tomorrow, but relieved that the snow storm is going to have us telecommuting a little bit longer. Not a single flake has fallen yet, but both kids already know they don‘t have school. I‘m recommitting to my practice of mint tea and an hour of nonfiction before bed. Plus pie tonight😃

A very cozy and cute #hyggehour tonight. Guests went to bed early, and I‘m finishing up a book of short stories while the cats scamper about. We had a very warm day today, but storms rolled in tonight and brought the seasonal weather back with them. Back to work tomorrow but that‘s okay.

Starting my hygge hour a bit late tonight, but I‘m finally in the kitchen with my book and a snack. I‘m feeling good, but also starting to get a bit worried about everything I need to get done this week. #hyggehour #MidWinterSolace

Last night‘s #hyggehour - the last of the pie, reading, and some ginger ale. Such a good way to end the weekend.

I had a whole list of nonfiction books to read for #NFNovember but Eleanor Roosevelt‘s book was calling to me from the shelf this weekend. I‘m going to try and finish it up with some fruit, cake, and a mug of mint tea. I took the day off tomorrow for parent teacher conferences so I‘m feeling good, but also apprehensive for the week to come.

It‘s time for the hour I look forward to all week. It‘s the #hyggehour Readathon! I‘m relaxing with a face mask and reading some short stories. I just finished switching over to my winter bed linens so coziness abounds tonight.

Hygge hour tonight-mango sorbet, Dracula, short stories, and my reading journal. The best hour of the week.

I‘m back in my kitchen for the best hour of the week. It‘s #hyggehour ! I have the last few pages of this mystery, some magazines, and my journal to relax with tonight. I lit a new lemon lavender candle, and the tea is almost done. Ahhhh.

Working on my October planner and reading a mystery for #hyggehour tonight. Something shifted with the seasons and I am back at my indoor reading spot tonight.

#hyggehour during a 3 day weekend is a little different. I‘m now watching Jaws and reading during commercials, and waiting for 10:30 when I have to pick up my son. This is one movie I prefer to the book.

My plan is always to do #hyggehourreadathon but it‘s always more of a #happyhourreadathon or #lheureapero this is when my house is calm, my husband is exercising, my kids, if they are home, are doing their own thing, I have dinner started and I can just take a breath, grab a snack and get lost in a book

I snuggled with Em in my reading love seat(there she is waiting in photo) & read two of the short stories in tagged book. #hyggehourreadathon

I already read a whole book today and I don‘t feel like sitting on the porch (humongous amounts of pollen) so I‘m having my hygge hour in bed with my #LitsyLove, my journals, and my calendars. It‘s paperwork but it‘s all fun paperwork. #Naturalitsy

Last night‘s #hyggehour was interrupted by a standoff. #Naturalitsy

It‘s hygge time! I‘ve had a bit of a bug off and on this weekend so I‘m cuddled up on the porch fighting the chills and reading Nancy Drew. This blanket from my son‘s toddler bed is the best one we have. It‘s the perfect weight when you‘re just a little cold. (My son is 16 now🤣)

#HyggeHour starts soon. For me I‘ll be in bed watching the Olympics and reading about #Oceania during the commercials. I usually have a firm no TV for hygge rule, but exceptions have been made 🏅🏅🏅

It‘s hygge hour. I tried to make Julia Child‘s recipe for strawberries with almond cream, but we must not be sophisticated enough because we had to throw it out and make plain whipped cream instead which we ate over Sara Lee pound cake 🤣 I‘m going to round out the rest of the hour with #litsyLove and some baseball. Have a good one everyone ❤️

I‘m starting my #hyggehour early tonight. It‘s just too humid to do anything else. I‘ve got two books, a can of cold sparkling water, a citronella candle, and the rumble of thunder in the distance.

My hygge hour was while Litsy was down last night and then I fell asleep before I could post. I woke up in A MOOD yesterday, but my son cooked dinner and I cleaned after a soccer game. I‘ve been running the kids around all weekend and then I came home and put this ikea bed together without instructions. #HyggeHour starts NOW.

The sun is setting and it‘s time for #hyggehour

I‘m drinking my tea and reading until I can‘t keep my eyes open any more. This was our first really warm day here this year and we‘re all feeling it.

It‘s hygge time! (I say time not hour because I‘ve been out in the sun all day and honestly don‘t know how long I can stay awake.)
