This is the first book I finished for #MarvellousMarchReadathon hosted by @Andrew65. I enjoy the book. It was a quick read. I rated this book a 3 out of 5 stars.

Soft pick for the third book in the series. This one got really repetitive to me (like I get it, being a not-white person dating white royalty is super tough, do we have to mention it in EVERY SINGLE CHAPTER??), although I did like the direction some of the drama went. So trashy, but I still am totally into it haha

This series has a way of pulling you in, but this book specifically made me root for each character at different times, even the ones that previous books in the series made me despise. I‘m so glad I read this after the 4th book came out! Can‘t wait to find out what happens next!

I absolutely love this series as a light read/(not so) guilty pleasure. This one ends on a pretty big cliffhanger so the count is on for the next one.

I haven't been reading a lot of YA lately, but I have such a soft spot for this series! The concept of an alternate history where America has a monarchy descendant from the Washington line is just genius. And even though it's been a hot minute since I read the last one, McGee does a great job of giving gentle reminders at the beginning to bring you back up to speed. This one left off on a crazy note though, so I'll be anxiously awaiting the next!

4 stars-I really enjoyed the book EXCEPT for Samantha's parts. I honestly wanted to slap her. All her woe is me pretty, rich, white girl, bs. Ugh! Her only saving graces are her love of Marshall and Nina, but 1/4 of the book from her perspective had me putting it down a lot. I hope the next book focuses on Nina, Daphne, and Jeff, and Sam has a tiny part of it from her perspective, or I might have to give up on a series that I really was loving!

The author went full soap opera and it was delightful :) This was a super fun read And THAT ending!

For anyone who hasn‘t heard, yes this one ends in a cliffhanger. If that bothers you then wait until the final book in the series is out. Now for the rest of it. It‘s good, light, silly, petty drama. I enjoyed it and I wanted something light so it fit my mood perfectly. We rotate POV between four main characters. The male characters feel pretty flat and uninteresting. If you liked the first two books I‘m sure you‘ll like this one.

Sadly most of the book hasn't been nearly this fun/entertaining.

This series is completely bonkers, but I love it anyway. Not sure why I can‘t stop reading.

This is my guilty pleasure YA series. I am a sucker for teen drama and I love anything about royalty. This book scratched that itch and I‘m not even ashamed.
