so-soIf ordered top to bottom ranking my favorite Katherine Center books- this one would be closer to the bottom. It was really relatable in several places but I went back and forth in liking the main character and there were just so many unneeded side storylines that felt disjointed from the larger storyline.
so-soI'm still not sure how I feel about this one. The main character is a hypocrit - she lives in fear of being judged on her weight, yet she is the first one to judge others harshly on their physical appearance. As much as I disliked her, I couldn't stop reading!
pickDaphne is a successful influencer beginning to accept herself for who she is. Six years ago, she had an argument with her best friend, Drue, they haven‘t seen each other since. Drue walks back into Daphne‘s life and asks her for one favour - be her maid of honour. Letting Drue back into her life carries risks but is this something she is willing to do.
A glamorous and entertaining story about family, friendship and what is important to us.
My May choice for #ReadOrDonate has been sitting on my shelves for years. It‘s time!

pickA cute little rom-com. It started out a little slow but as I spent more time with the characters I began to enjoy it more. At times I felt the characters were a bit cliche, especially the wacky grandma. Overall I enjoyed reading this.
