Sweet
Yesterday I binge watched Season 4 of Ozark on Netflix. I‘m still recovering! 💰👮♀️👰♀️🤵♂️🐐. So I‘m resting my eyes and listening to something devoid of violence ( and a guaranteed HEA ending) - oops tagged the wrong book but love both books 💚🐉
For a Romance novel, I found this to be above average. I thought the premise was pretty unique, and this first book does a good job of establishing the family that is clearly going to be the center of a series of interconnected books (somewhat similar to the Bridgerton series). The sex scenes aren‘t gratuitous and are withheld until it feels appropriate. My one criticism is the male MC has a completely shoehorned in martial arts expertise 🤨
Magic mountain.
A wonderful, entertaining, dignified regency romance.

Yay for #audibleescape! It has helped me find some classic romance, including Mary Balogh. I enjoyed this first book of her newest series and look forward to the Westcott families adventures. #romantsy
A romance historical fiction. I liked the characters and the banter was witty.
Thanks to Litsy I updated my library card and gained access to Cloud Library and could immediately borrow and read this #romantsy. Avery is a Duke right out of Georgette Heyer, effete, pretty , languid and totally hot 🔥. Anna , an heiress raised in an orphanage, fascinates Avery from their first meeting. Probably my favourite book by this author ( so far )
My birthday was earlier this week, so of course I had to treat myself! #bookhaul #myprecious
I usually love Balogh's books. I was disappointed in this one's use of the mysterious Asian trope.
Awww a happy ending. Now I can't wait to read the next one!
Reading a little before A John Denver Rocky Mountain Christmas concert starts. I had just gotten to a good part when I had to leave!
This arrived at the library this week and I was first on the hold list! 😁
This was a feel good romance that kept me distracted on a very crowded flight with a screaming baby nearby. The heroine was very likable and the hero was unique. I'm looking forward to future books in the series. #bookblogger #romantsy #historicalromance

Really enjoyed it! Mary Balogh at her finest. I can't wait to see where this series goes.
I enjoyed this book. The characters were charming and well developed. I especially liked Avery and Anna. While the beginning had some pacing problems it came together well and I can't wait for the rest of the series.
Perhaps being in love was what his soul had long yearned for. Or perhaps he was merely mad.
Book post! 📚 So excited to get my hands on a copy of the new Mary Balogh. *squeeee* #romance #historical
