In Vermont we are still buzzing from this event. The total eclipse was so beyond anything I could have imagined. The cold, the darkness, the stars, the return of light. Strangers embracing strangers. Grandchildren running wild in the darkness and screaming that it was the best day of their lives. It happened in my backyard and it was sunny (unheard of!) I see why people chase this experience. It has affected me deeply. 💕💕
My cards are going out a little late, but should arrive before the end of the month. Seems apropos considering the sudden return to chilly temps and the occasional snow squall! I hope everyone loves the poems I selected as much as I do!! To me, spring conjures images of all the creatures peeking from their burrows and dens and snug hidey-holes! Happy Spring!! 🌸🌈🌦️🌿🐿️🐇🦡🦔

My nephew passed in April, & I now seem to live in a state of constant overstimulation. The neverending city noise of people arguing, car stereos blaring, firecrackers, and jerks on dirtbikes riding down the cement creek bed outside our bedroom window at 2 AM has been rough. Natural settings help clear my head. My bestie snapped this on a recent much-needed hike, unwittingly catching me communing with my goddess. 🌿 🌳 🌞 ❤

I feel bad about not having been here in several weeks.
I'm stressing about a writing deadline, sleeping poorly, enduring the recent hot weather (and the increased neighbourly noise that follows) with bad grace... my habitual summer-time dysphoria, in other words.
pickSuch an amazing and luscious book. Museum illustrations and in depth studies of where each colour is seen and found. Expressive but I have no regrets. A complement to my previous post.
