@Rissreads - you have no idea how much joy seeing my name printed on something brings me. I‘m still mad about not being able to have the name stickers (that my siblings with more common names had!!!) that were super popular back when I was a kid.

If I had any time management skills on a Sunday when I happen to have an afternoon shift - I‘d have totally ripped into these delightful packages from my #aussiesecretsanta(s) as it is - I managed to have lunch and be on time - so we are calling it a good day!

I‘ve been dying to get my hands on a hard copy of Surrender & the #ozfoction book looks very intriguing. The bookmark is gorgeous & I can‘t wait to dig in to that chocolate(unfortunately it‘s still breakfast time here). I‘ll let you know the minute my original package shows up(if it does🤷🏻‍♀️)

Wow Christmas was a blur with an almost six month old and travelling to family, such a blur that I feel like today is the first time I've had to breathe, look at my phone and remember I had a gift to open!!!

Had a very exciting yet non bookish package arrive for me at my grandparents today. So I was able to collect my #AussieSecretSanta sack as well… they were a bit miffed that I wouldn‘t open it so they could see *and* that I wanted to take it home to put under my little tree 🎄😂

Finally got most of my #JolabokaflodSwap & #AussieSecretSanta packages in the mail yesterday. Didn‘t get a photo coz my daughter took them to the Post Office & forgot to get a pic! Two of my giftees will be getting another package hopefully by next week(buying online is a crapshoot)but their books will be there at least. And my overseas recipient will be also getting two gifts, one directly from the bookstore as I don‘t trust auspost mail times!

My #AussieSecretSanta parcel arrived today - my lovely grandparents act as my post office - so Pa sent me a text letting me know a parcel had arrived from @MrsMalaprop .

He was super confused when I asked him to open it and take a photo of it under the tree but he obliged 😂

#aussiesecretsanta Hope everyone‘s having fun getting their packages together. I almost have mine sorted, but tested positive for the ‘spicy cough‘ overnight 😩🤧. Need to avoid the rest of humanity for at least 5 days, which will mean a delay in posting my package. 🤞🙏

Thank you so much for my parcel of goodies. It cheered me up when I remembered and opened it last night.
I have had a very long week with my partner being rushed to hospital. He has autoimmune aortitis, which has caused an abdominal aortic aneurysm. He has had so many MRIs and PET scans to diagnose his pain that I haven‘t been able to hug him because of his radioactivity.
So, thank you @Teresereading it is a lovely gift.
