I saw both @CogsOfEncouragement and @kspenmoll post about the tagged book, so I looked up the author, and I have to say she won me over completely with her intro! 😄👌🏻

My family truly enjoyed “Shadow & Light” during Advent 2020. I am looking forward to using “Bitter & Sweet” also by Tsh Oxenreider during this Lenten season which begins March 2.

Christmas themed books I read this December 2021.

Tsh Oxenreider's advent readings have become a personal tradition of mine since it came out last year. Short and insightful, I love how this book helps give structure to my worship at this time of year.🕯

Each day of advent has a scripture and something to ponder. It has alternative readings that focus more on the story of Christ's birth, special readings for saints' days, and an explanation of the 12 days.

This is the Advent book my family is using this year! I love it, my family loves it.

Unfortunately I wasn‘t able to get a physical copy before Advent began because it was on backorder everywhere, including online. But we have a digital copy for my Kindle which is working out just fine for now.

Two books arrived today. One is a guide through the season of Advent. The other is a coloring book of a different sort- it unfolds into a nine foot panel illustrations by the artist Shantell Martin.

New #Advent book by Tsh Oxenreider! It had been on back order. I like to plan what I am doing with the kids early so I am not scrambling when the hustle and bustle of the season hits. My kids are teens now, I think this will be perfect for us.
