Revisiting Storyton Hall is like revisiting an old friend... this series just keeps getting better and better!!
My reading nook in the family room. There‘s a little table there for warm drinks and the chair looks out the patio doors, with the fireplace to my left.
Murder in the Cookbook Nook is the latest addition (#7) in the book retreat mystery series. I'm always up for a cozy mystery and a visit to Storyton Hall is always welcome! Catching up with Jane and her sons, Fitz and Hem as well as all of the other characters is always a welcome retreat from my own crazy life. And seriously, who wouldn't want to visit a place called Storyton Hall (virtually or otherwise); A Hotel retreat (cont in comments)
Loved, loved, loved this! It felt like a long, solid, well fleshed out novel. While it didn‘t further the narrative of Storyton Hall it did further a lot of story lines. So good!
This is the seventh book in the book retreat mystery series. I love all the characters especially Jane and her sons, Fitzgerald and Hemingway. The characters feel like old friends while the story is well written and flows easily. I feel like I am transported into the story and at home in Storyton. The cooking show filming was a fun bonus into the story.
I thoroughly enjoy reading this series and can‘t wait for more books! Book 49/150.
Today I had coffee with Ellery Adams. She is so sweet and lovely!
Surprise #bookmail today! I am on @Ellery_Adams review crew.
Yaaasssssss! Great intersection bc I‘m SUPER into baking shows right now!
This series gives me all the feels abs this newest book is no exception! Ellery Adams‘s cozy mysteries are hands down my favourite books; they‘re just the right length to engross you in the mystery, while updating you on the lives of all the characters. This mystery was so soft and cozy, I felt like I was wrapped up in a soft throw with a cuppa.
