Love Your Life | 
so-soThis one fits neatly into my accidental collection of Kinsella books. I remember getting my first Kinsella on backpacking trip in Australia from a frellow backpacker 20 years ago. Then I bought some the Shopaholic books myself but mostly got the others from little free libraries. This one was okay but reminded me very much of the first shopaholic.
A little bit of comfort reading in the dark, cold winter. 🥶 Kinsella‘s books always make me feel light-hearted. ❤️🔥
pickTrue to Sophie‘s style: romance, humour, drama all in one! I‘ve enjoyed it from the start to the end! Loving the HEA ending 😘 I‘ve rated it ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5.

so-soHaven't read a chic lit (or Sophie Kinsella) in years but found this on my sister's bookshelf and needed something easy. Although I found the female protagonist Frustrating with a capital F, I ended up reading the whole book. Funny parts.

The audiobook narrator did a good job, and I knew what I was getting from a Kinsella book, but this was the worst one of her books in my limited experience with her novels. The story was weak and I can't remember the last time I cared less for a protagonist. The last few chapters earned it the extra .5 star, but I don't recommend it. It was good to break a serious book/reading slump, though.
pickI just love reading Kinsella‘s books. As usual her main character Ava is a sweet, well- meaning, disorganized, optimistic woman with funny, quirky friends. While at a writers‘ retreat she meets “Dutch” (they all have fake names). Their romance blooms but when they get back to real life in London, things are much more complicated. Naked saunas, an out of control dog and hideous art add up to complications. Laugh out loud funny!
pickAva & Matt meet at a writing retreat where they‘re not allowed to use their real names or reveal any personal info. By the end of the week, they are in lust, & try to keep their relationship going when they return home. It was pretty funny but both were kinda horrible in their own way. Still, I was invested enough to find out if Ava and Matt could make it work, or if they even should.

panScattered Ava meets an attractive man at a writer's retreat and is smitten - but the hitch is they know nothing about one another, not even their real names... when they get back home, they try to make it work, but really have nothing in common. I think I was supposed to take from this that lust is a solid basis for a relationship even if you drive each other nuts, but both Ava and Matt were so extreme that I wanted to smack them both.
Started this library hold today! I've been wanting to read more from this author, so we'll see how this turns out for me. #bookspinbingo

panCouldn't get into the characters or finish. Being a garbage pet parent isn't cute and quirky.
pickBoth main characters annoyed me so much, but my desire to find out how they evolved gripped me to the end. The dialogue made me laugh so many times, and I loved how so many compelling scenes made it into such a short book. I would recommend to anyone drawn to a story about relationship and personal growth with a brush of canines, friendship, and Italy.
pickWow I never been so deep in a book and read it and loved it every page. I lot of Sophie kinsella books and this one is with my top top book of undomestic goddess. Started 9th jan finished 16th January. Good progress for me is that. GO ME!!!!!!!

pickAnother fun, engaging chicklit/contemporary read from Sophie Kinsella. Her writing has a way of making you feel invested in the characters and hoping things will all turn out well for them. Whilst in my mind, nothing compares to her amazingly addictive shopaholic series, as a standalone book this is also one to add to your tbrs. All about a doomed relationship where there are just too many differences between you to make it work or are there?!⭐⭐⭐⭐

Downloaded this from my local library a couple of days ago. While I‘m a bit burnt out on the Shopaholic series, I still enjoy Sophie Kinsella‘s stand alone books.
bailedI‘m just not feeling this, which makes me sad as Kinsella used to be a favorite author of mine. Ava is driving me nuts and it‘s taking me way out of the story.
bailedI really like this author and wanted SO much to like this. I gave it 200 pages even, but just couldn't hang with it. Ava kept trying to convince herself she was in love with Matt (with many, many exclamation points!!!) and I couldn't see why these two tried to stay together, much less if they should. So I bailed. 🤷🏻♀️
This is my daughter and my Great Dane. My daughter is 6 feet tall. So is the Dane. 😂😂😂❤️❤️🐶 When we say our dogs are furry humans, we mean it. 😁

pickLove Your Life is an entertaining book. It is a typical Sophie Kinsella book with a cute story line, fun characters, romance, and laughs. Sophie Kinsella's books always make me happy and this is no exception. Love Your Life is a perfect book for something lighter during 2020.

pickI have a love/hate relationship with Kinsella novels; I love the irreverence of her books & how one of her characters (usually the heroine) is always super positive & has crazy imagination. But, I also hate that that character also has an overactive imagination and gets way carried away. That said, I did enjoy this book. Love Ava's friends, they had such a strong support group for each other, and that Ava and Matt didn't give up on each other.
