To have a love that had withstood decades of being apart with so heartbreakingly beautiful. Knowing that over all that time their love never faded. How they were both looking for each in their time of need. This incredible connection!!!
It‘s truly amazing that this was based on a true real life couple.
August Book 1/25 #LitsyLove #bookspinbingo
I‘m so use to seeing my untouched Nicholas Sparks TBR stack that I never think to add one to my BookSpin lists. This month I added two and both were the chosen numbers! ...Is it completely corny that I loved this book with big Nights in Rodanthe feels!?

Tried something different as I heal from my second vaccine shot.
Eh - I think I‘ve read enough Nicholas Sparks to last me a lifetime.
This is one of my favorite books by him. I love how he went out of his way to make this book happen, got to know the people, and made something with it. The story will forever stay with me, and makes me love Nicholas Sparks even more as an author. Definitely recommend this to anyone that hasn't read it yet. 😊
Sometimes you need a little Nicholas Sparks in your life. 💚💚
The vase in the picture is apple shaped. I have two of them - I think they were my mom‘s. 🍎🌸
Next read!! Haven't had too much time to read lately, but because of all the snow my area as gotten, I have more time on my hands! ⛄📚
A South African safari guide named Tru travels to the USA to uncover who his true parents are. He heads in a rush, as he hears news that his real father is dying. While waiting for his arrival, he meets a woman named Hope, and the two click near-instantaneously.
@laurenashley thanks so much for the #littlechristmasswap goodies!! I can‘t wait to read this book. Love love love the socks, bookmarks, lip balm, hand sanitizer and CHOCOLATE!!!
@bookish_wookish thanks for hosting this fun swap!!
“Falling in love is the easy part; making that love last amid life's varied challenges is an elusive dream for many.” ...
“Meeting you and falling in love with you was an experience I would relive a thousand times in a thousand different lives, if I was ever given that chance.”
#love #romance 💕💕💕
I finally read a #bookspin after a few months of reading other stuff 🥰 this book was lovely and made me cry a bit, but a couple reasons it‘s not getting a #pick and only so-so from me... I‘ve never been much for romance books, and second I was a little bit disappointed about the part he makes you think is non-fiction, but turns out is fiction. I would like it better if it was actually more real.

“One of the great things about a leaf,” he said to her, “is that it reminds you to live as well as you can for as long as you can, until it‘s finally time to let go and allow yourself to drift away with grace.”
I‘ve always been a sucker for a bittersweet Nicholas Sparks book and boy, he didn‘t disappoint with this one! I thought it was extremely clever that he inserted himself into the story through the Prologue/Epilogue and reading T&H‘s love story as if they were real people out there in the world gave this book an element that touched my heart. Turns out, they are fictional afterall, but it‘s nice to think about. Heart wrenching read but so sweet!
I like the Zimbabwe part. I would‘ve enjoyed more of it, unexpectedly. The rest was okay. Tru‘s character is great. Would‘ve liked more. Hope is kind of boring. Zero tension. Easy, pleasant enough read.

This made me sad. A tale of a truly in-loved couple separated for years and found a way to reunite through the magic of a lonely mail box is pretty unique. It reminds me of the “Message in a Bottle”😀. Very interesting indeed.
I like Nicholas Sparks books for escape-reading and who doesn‘t need a good escape these days? This book definitely did the trick. I love Sparks‘ N.C. settings, and now all I want to do is read the letters from Kindred Spirit!
This was also a Book Club choice and it definitely didn't disappoint me. As per his usual bar, Nicholas Sparks amazing writing brought tears to my eyes many times during this story.
This was a lovely tale of two lovers separated by time/circumstance.
I would recommend this book to... Well, anyone.
📚📖Happy Reading!📖📚
Another good book by Nicholas Sparks. He starts and ends it as though he is part of the story and why he wrote it. I liked that aspect of this book, it seems like it really happened. Hope lives in North Carolina, Tru is from Africa. They meet over a weekend and a lifetime of longing takes place.
Loved this book so much! Might be my favorite Sparks book, and I‘m pretty sure I‘ve read them all!!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Wow. This is definitely one of my favourite books! I loved it.
Planning for a family trip and the first thing I do is pick out books to read. 📚 Obviously the most important things to bring!
We are going to the east coast for a beach vaca 🏖 , so I picked out books that are based there. As such, Nicholas Sparks books are the majority. 🤷🏼♀️
Can‘t wait! Less than a week away!
Not bad, but not life altering 🤷🏼♀️ Enjoyable, but seems more unrealistic than Sparks‘ other novels.
Just started this one today. So intriguing! #newbook #allthebooksmay19 #bookworm
I LOVED THIS BOOK!!!
Nicholas Sparks says at the beginning "I'm comfortable describing this book as a novel and not a work of nonfiction." How he explains how he even began to write this novel was so intriguing and beautiful. Knowing that such a place exists is magical and makes me want to head there one day. Bird Island near Sunset Beach, North Carolina. KINDRED SPIRIT.
Time for a good old Nicholas Sparks Book.... My daughter picked from my library of TBR books. 🤓
4 ☆ If you‘ve been let down by Nicholas Sparks‘ last two releases as I was, pick this one up. You‘ll fall in love with his writing all over again. Every Breath has reaffirmed my love for Sparks‘ novels. #botm

As usual Nicholas Sparks‘s has a way to touch the heart with likable characters you want to get to know. Not as heart wrenching as most of his books. An easy few hour read.
Another great book by Nichols Sparks. Able to cozy up with a blanket and a cup of coffee on a ridiculously cold March day.
Road trip to Pigeon Forge TN for a marriage retreat with the church...can‘t go wrong with a Nicholas Sparks book for the ride📚
New thrift store find :)...almost died of excitement right there on the floor when I found this gem for 75 cents. #thiftfinds #livingmybooklife #nicholassparksisthebest
“Grief is always the price we pay for love”
It has been years and years since I have read a Sparks novel. I found this book about missed chances, regret and fate, to be sweet and heartbreaking. At one point toward the end, I yelled out loud, " What the f***, Nicholas Sparks". I forgot how tragic his books can be. Not just a love story set on a beach.
Need to go to sleep but started this book and dont want to stop reading. I love Nicholas Sparks!
A story of love lost and found that allows us to ponder what are we willing and able to do with love that meets us unexpectedly. I picked up this book due to the setting at Sunset Beach NC and Kindred Spirit-a place very special to me when I turned 50.
