A favorite 🍵
Another one memorized 💁🏻♀️. I‘m going to pretend like it was hard work.
Fun fact: my all-time favorite food is chicken and rice (rice with cream of chicken soup—with added chicken—poured on top), and I‘m pretty sure this book is largely responsible. Loved it as a kid, love it now, and I‘m glad I can share it with my son in a board book.

💜 Finished Broadchurch recently, now binging on Hinterland
💛 nothing specific, though I'm stressed when individuals (real or fictitious) in books take life threatening risks or stay in their ruts and refuse intervention or support, thus hurting those around them

💙 always ❣️❣️
Reading one of Momma's favorite books as a kid, now available as a board book ❤️. Watson got distracted by the camera.

This F book reminds me of TL in that it weaves the classic theme of learning the months with a dish many Americans are surely familiar with: chicken soup. This book is great to go along with Where the Wild Things Are and In the Night Kitchen.
Here is a link to information on the new book to be released in 2018

My mom is the best. I'm still having wonky days and she offered to bring me my fav chicken soup from a restaurant near my house.
My kid and I think chicken soup with rice is very nice! 😃😄😋Any fans of Maurice Sendak?

#riotgrams #favouritechildrensbook. I used to read this one out loud to myself. I ❤️'d both the soup and the book. My copy has disappeared so thanks Google for the photo 🍜
#riotgrams #favoritechildrensbook The Nutshell Library book set was the best....Even though, as a child, the Pierre book kinda scared the crap out of me....
