Fabulous NF option for young readers! Illustrations are great & though published in '92, is still relevant! Just read this RF novel in 3 days because of the addictive rhetoric, descriptive voices of each character and the plot. I laughed and cried through this book. Great for a class read that has an amazing theme of inclusiveness. I hope I see this in classrooms for many years to come! It's being made into a movie for a great comparison project.
