First day back at work.
Same vibes as my desk plant.
Got distracted from project bookshelf but I did water my plants, pack away my Christmas decorations & tried out a new pea & feta fritter recipe. I‘m struggling with the weather at the moment - I don‘t sleep very well when it‘s hot (Yay - Summer!) and I wonder how I‘ll cope back at work next week - when I‘m exhausted after a day gently puttering around home.
Don‘t tell me other plants - but this one is my favourite 😉
It‘s after midnight and the urge to rearrange a bookshelf has struck… I just need to take my plants off my table so that I can move the table so that I have enough room to get started.
I got this plant, accidentally (in that I ordered something else and they sent this in error) during an early 2020 lockdown - and I didn‘t think it would thrive in the lighting conditions of my apartment- and yet here we are!
Thanks for the tag @LitStephanie 😺
1- Growing indoor plants
2- I have a bunch but I'm never sure if I'm taking care of them correctly.
3- Wild at Home looks fantastic 🪴

So I had some cash… and then I went to a makers market 😂 and well (you are probably not going to be surprised to learn that) now I don‘t have any cash…
But I did get the last minute gift that had slipped my mind (oops!) and I did treat myself to this adorable tiny succulent tray, 3 pairs of tiny stud earrings and another framed piece of art - because it sparked joy ✨
This book on bringing plants 🌱 into your home shows many of the author‘s clients‘ homes. He goes into how to layer plants and how to create an interesting mix. The last 1/3 goes into caring for plants as well as some of his favorites. I wish I could have a Fiddle Leaf Fig, as they are striking and beautiful, but they need more light than my studio gets 😢. One day! Lots of beautiful full page photos.
This book is about bringing plants 🌱 (lots of them) into your space and how to care for them. There are lots of beautiful photos in this book, but I couldn‘t resist posting this one of the author‘s cat.
