Agatha Raisin is getting married! The only problem is, Roy decides to see if he can find her first husband before the wedding. He thinks he is really helping. He succeeds in finding her first husband, she never divorced, and the trouble starts Great cozy Mystery Series.

🙂 Happy Reading 🙂

What happens when your estranged husband shows up at the worse time? For Agatha Raisin, it begins a list of calamitous episodes. Another fun listen, with crazy antics and Agatha‘s awful obsession with James Lacey (I really cannot stand him!).

Needed a quick/easy audiobook to listen to the other day. So, I picked this up.

Agatha is about to get married but her ex husband shows up. Then he ends up dead. Agatha gets accused and then of course has to solve the crime.

Mixed feelings about this one - James is a whiny baby and I want to punch Roy Silver in the face but Agatha is really starting to round out as a multi-dimensional character and I liked Bill‘s side story. The mystery was good, too. In the end, the gold outweighed the bad and I‘m keenly interested for the next book, given the character development in this one. A good companion for #audiowalking

Made my way thru Book #5 of this series. My favorite so far. I think what made this one so good was the fact that the reader learns a lot more about Agatha's past.

#WondrousWednesdsy @Eggs thanks for the tag @robinb 👰‍♀️🤵‍♂️🙀 😵 just started listening to the tagged book. I would love a sequel to GUNCLE 👍. The last book ( I haven‘t posted it yet) was a pick. Tagging all Littens who want to play.

I needed a quick break from all of the dark, heavy, slow, and/or disappointing reads I‘ve had this month. I reached for an Agatha Raisin, knowing that she could recharge me enough to help push me through to the end of May. Soft pick as it was not the best in the series, but it held my attention and was exactly the fluff I was looking for.

I‘m still enjoying the Agatha Raisin series but I‘m just not a fan of James Lacey character. I‘m really hoping Agatha gets over him and finds someone better suited to her personality.

KathyWheeler I was never a fan of James Lacey either — I always thought he was a jerk. 4y
Liatrek @KathyWheeler Glad I‘m not the only one🙂 I keep waiting for him to have some redeemable quality but he just rubs me the wrong way! I think Agatha deserves better. 4y

Book 5 in the Agatha Raisin series was a lot of fun. Agatha gets jilted at the altar when her long lost drunkard husband crashes her wedding. I‘m so intrigued by Agatha and James‘ relationship and I love that it doesn‘t take the predictable route. I‘m really loving listening to this series on audiobook. 4⭐️

I skipped the last Agatha Raisin mystery but really enjoyed reading about Agatha and James - their complicated relationship - and Agathas sneaky ex husband Jimmy.

Finding these a perfect balm when I can‘t read much more. during these coronavirus times.

Another enjoyable book in this series. Agatha gets tangled up in a murder that involves her husband (who she thought was dead).

After a build up between the relationship between Agatha and James, I had an instant dislike for Roy after he backstabbed Agatha and possibly ruined the relationship between them.

Are Agatha and James really a match made on heaven with an unbreakable bond or can Agathas, supposed, dead husband destroy that?

4.5 out of 5

Agatha is back, this time the victim is her sleezy ex husband and its on her wedding day to James Lacey.

I had a feeling who the murderer was but I can't say that I guessed it because I was down to one of three

Agatha and James' relationship really grew. We started with a jilted wedding and then dove into a murder investigation so they are in a rather odd situation but they make the most of it and I felt I grew warmer to James

Poor Agatha! I can hear her shouting to love, #swingmyway! She lusts after a certain someone, and in this book, once again things go awry for her "love" life. #JuneTunz

Andrew65 Don't things always go awry for her! 😊 8y
Librarybelle Yes they do, @Andrew65 ! 8y
Andrew65 @Librarybelle She's not the most likeable of characters but I do enjoy the books. 8y
Librarybelle The do too, @Andrew65 . It's entertaining to read how she gets herself into situations. At least she likes her cats...haha! 8y
