pickLori and her husband Bill (and Aunt Dimity) visit Derek's father at his families estate. There are threats to Derek's cousin, Lori is determined to get to the bottom of it. I cannot remember the details of all of the stories in this series, I forget them as soon as I finish the book. The characters stay with me though, and each time I read Aunt Dimity it is like visiting good friends.

I‘ve read many cozies over the years but Jenn Mckinlay was the first cozy author that I ever read and her two series, Book Lovers and Cupcake series are the only 2 series I keep up with. I‘ve been reading these for years so they are always warm, comforting, and the characters feel like old friends. In this book it‘s Halloween time and librarian Lindsey discovers the skeletal remains of a woman from a 30 year old cold case.

pickLoved it! Such a fun installment with the whole Langslow crew on a cruise. Including, poor Rose Noire, who only went to try to protect them from the dangers of the Bermuda Triangle. Of course the cruise deteriorates quickly, and Meg must step in to help keep things on an even keel. 😉
so-so1890 Bath, England is the setting for a story that loosely encapsulates the upper class sentiments of the era.Fancying a cosy mystery is the reason I chose this book. At the start I was pleased with my choice, It had a relaxing, interesting storyline with lots of amusing occurrences and even a little romance on offer. Unfortunately once the detective work begins the story slows, becomes somewhat dreary, elongated and uninspiring.
