Thanks to @shortsarahrose for my #litsyrecipeswap package! Ironically, I was at Target today and the earrings were marked down to .99 cents so I grabbed them!
I love the silicon pot holders!!
My husband is sleeping before he has to go back to the hospital tonight, laundry is going, dinner is cooking (thanks crock pot!), so I‘m enjoying the last free day before classes start back for me tomorrow. Happy Sunday!
Waiting to get new tires put on my husband‘s truck for him...another time I‘m thankful to be a reader!
It‘s been a long week! I‘m finally having some time to stop. Getting my hair done and chilling with an easy cozy mystery. Happy Friday!
#bookspin #17
Done with my second book from the list!
I‘ve lost count but I think this is book #4 from the Bakeshop Mystery Cozy Series.
Generally I love to finish all books in a series in one go but this one is perfect to read each one as a stand alone in your free time. (And it has nothing to do with the fact that there are 11 books in total with more coming....🤫😂) lol
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

This had me laughing out of my seat! Looool I guess the last decade has been defined by vampires thanks to #Twilight and #TVD. 😂😂
Although, I find the genre pretty alluring. Think about it, a baby faced character is great cuz no one would know how old they are. Are they 18 or an 800 year old soul? Anything is possible and it amps up the creepiness.🧛🏼♀️
This cozy series just gets better and better... I absolutely love it!!
Liking the book but as someone who enjoys spelling bees I was surprised at the many spelling errors. Also why say ‘owner‘ of bookshop instead of personalizing her? Seems to me this book was rushed. Otherwise main characters well developed and interesting story.
#HeyJune #IWantToHoldYourHand
OK, going for this punny 'hand' title from one of my favorite foodie cozy series for today's ? prompt.
But I can relate to some of the lyrics "...And when I touch you, I feel happy inside. It's such a feelin' that my love I can't hide..." Kinda sums up how I feel when I'm in the presence of freshly-baked bread--my love I can't hide! ???????
Wedding #1 of this weekend. Finished just before we left. Another great adventure with the team at Torte. Looking forward to the next one. #ilovecozies
Lazy days off mean snuggling up on blankets with your favourite girl. 🐶💕 Happy to be back with another bake shop mystery. #dogsoflitsy #ilovecozies
Great cozy mystery book haul from the library today! I'm all set for the next few weeks. #happyreader #ilovecozies
So...I was getting ready to start "Banana Cream Pie Murder" when I realized that I missed "Christmas Caramel Murder," which means that that's on hold until I get my paws on "Christmas Caramel." So it's back to Ashland, Oregon, and the lovely gang at Torte!
Book 4 of this foodie cozy mystery series has Jules trying to decide what to do about her husband & getting involved in the murder of the new owner of a chain fast food restaurant who is angering the town of Ashland, OR by not complying with the Shakespearean vibe. It also has lots of food besides bread like red velvet cake, boozy cherry marzipan cake, some yummy sounding Mexican food & a creamy potato breakfast casserole that made me drool.📚🍴👍
Really enjoyed this foodie cozy with lots of likable characters! Even though it's the reason there is nothing but crumbs left from this piece of red velvet cake. Come to think of it it's the reason I bought a piece of red velvet cake in the first place!
I really should try to go to sleep but this foodie cozy mystery just has me wanting pastries and booze soaked cakes
Another wonderful addition to the Bakeshop Mystery series. A fun read, a fast read, and a story that will make your heart race and your stomach growl!
"Postponing my first cup by ten minutes wouldn't kill me. Well, probably not." #coffeelove
