“It should be simple to find the perfect wife—and from his first glimpse of Lady Cassandra Ravenel, he‘s determined to have her.”

November has brought rain and grey skies ( October was light and colour) so hunkered down to re-listen to a favourite historical romance. Really not a lot of plot in this one but Cassandra and Tom , two of my favourite supporting characters, step into the limelight. It‘s a pleasure to hear this book read by one of my favourite voices. 👍👍💚🐉
I love when library holds come in unexpectedly. Only 2 more to go to finish The Ravenels series—book 3 and 7, which doesn‘t come out until this summer.
This book was okay. It lacked some of the wit and charm of the others, but some of that is because the characters are more subdued and not as charismatic. West‘s story (book 5) remains my fave.
Challenge 12 of 50: A book published the month of your birthday
I'm a February baby, and this delicious conclusion to The Ravenels series was an excellent birthday gift this year. I especially love the covers on this series, the ballgowns are just glowing.

This wasn't her best in the series, but I still enjoyed it.

4/5 books finished, 952/1000 pages #nutsinmay @Andrew65 I think I should have set this goal a little higher!
I liked it but I didn‘t love it. I didn‘t think the hero and heroine had enough time together and I didn‘t love some of the plot twists. But individually Tom and Cassandra are great characters.
The latest in the Ravenels series does not disappoint, though it could just be me, but it wasn‘t quite as steamy as the others. Cassandra seems so likable...she loves books and gets through a tragedy with a strong mind.
Now to figure out what other lighthearted books to listen to while working...
Classic historical romance. I liked it, but didn‘t love it. The series has some great ones and some okay ones. But I still love the formula.
I love Kleypas' books, and this series in particular. This one is about Cassandra and Tom, and I'm assuming it's the last in the series. I can't wait to see what she does next.

I've finished Lisa Kleypas's series The Ravenels! (I think--Goodreads seems to think that this is the last). In this one, Chasing Cassandra, Cassandra Ravenel is finding a new way of life after the marriage of her twin Pandora when she meets Tom Severin, a man who lives by logic alone and denies the place of emotion in his life. ⬇️
What a beautiful ending to such a delightful series! I had high expectations for Cassandra and Tom's story and I was not disappointed. Tom is truly a unique hero and it was so fun to watch his heart melt for Cassandra. It was also nice to catch up with all of the other characters from previous books. I only wish the ladies' brother Ethan had a stronger presence in the book. So sad that this series is over. I can't wait for her next one! ❤❤❤❤❤
I‘ve received this e-ARC from Edelweiss in return for my honest review.
A delightful read, engaging and enthralling at times! Truly enjoyed the interesting plots though Tom did reminds me of someone from FSOG 😅 My first Ravenels and novel from this author, it has piqued my interest in the other books from this series now!
Yay! I won a Goodreads giveaway! This book is beautiful and one I‘m excited to have a physical book for. Also I‘m going to a book con that the author will be at, so I can get it signed! Happy Monday. 🥰
Then I tore through this one and it was a delight. Can we get a Ravenels Netflix series too? Or Hulu you wanna jump in the game?
I have been hooked on the Ravenels story since book one. Gotta say I was skeptical going into this because Tom has been a complete ass for 4 books, and I didn't think Kleypas could change my mind but god damn it she did. Loved watch Tom succumb to love baffled the entire time. Most of all I enjoyed seeing some dimension added to Cassandra. Loved that she found her feet but wish we actually saw her create her charity.

I was about to start a different book today, but the next Lisa Kleypas popped up in Edelweiss. I've been waiting semi-patiently for this book, so I'm starting this ARC right away! #currentlyreading #romantsy
