This book was beautiful and it will definitely stick with me for a long time. 💜
This is definitely an extremely complex book that really shows the challenges of a girl who is agoraphobic and has a lot of mental health issues. This really gets into the feelings and emotions that go with having to face these problems daily and I really thought that it did a great job of putting the reader in the character‘s shoes. Great writing and story.
At seventeen, Norah has accepted that the four walls of her house delineate her life. She knows that fearing everything from inland tsunamis to odd numbers is irrational, but her mind insists the world outside is too big, too dangerous. So she stays safe inside, watching others‘ lives through her windows and social media feed.

honestly such a raw and accurate representation of agoraphobia it‘s scared
this book personifies the colour pink, it‘s like a sunset, it‘s warm and it‘s happy yet it‘s sad because something is leaving
i honestly love this book so much
10/10 - it‘s an aesthetic in a novel
I can relate to this book more than anything. It makes me feel like everything is going to turn out ok. Such a great read.

Fantastic read. It really helps understand the issues people are trying to cope with, especially those “invisible” illnesses. Highly recommended.
So much nodding my head here. This book is tough to read, but that‘s because it has so much honesty and understanding in it. Love.

An other contemporary I didn't like. 🙈
It wasn't the worst one I've read but I wouldn't recommend it.
This book is about a young girl dealing with a mental illness and her trying to overcome it. The begining wasn't too bad but the ending ruined the story, in my opinion. There was something unrealistic about the story.
This is between a so-so and a pick. It‘s a fast read, but I felt like it bit off more than it could chew, story wise. Agoraphobia and mental illness are real conditions that have been explored in somewhat similar novels- The Woman In the Window, Close Enough to Touch, and Everything, Everything. This wanted to dive into such issues, but with a love story mixed in. I found I wanted more details about the why. I also wasn‘t in love with the ending.
Another day, another letter! #litsyatoz #letteru
Norah, a teen struggling with OCD and agoraphobia, spends a lot of time alone in her house. This is an authentic portrayal of her anxiety mixed with the thrill and hope of attraction to and friendship with Luke next door.
I made it! #24in48 for the first time!! My timer reset halfway through, but luckily I took a screen shot for a post before it did. So here‘s my two timers for this readathon. Feeling pretty happy I dedicated my weekend to reading. Congrats to everyone else who spent time reading this weekend, whether it was for 24 hours or 2! #readersgonnaread
I utterly loved this book, it was so raw and real and got me right in the feels. Norah is such a precious, relatable character and I loved seeing her interactions with Luke develop. Agoraphobia and anxiety is portrayed perfectly too 💜
I just started this book this afteenoon and I'm loving it so far. YA Contemporary is one of my favourite genres and I especially love protagonists with mental illness'. Norah here is really relatable, and definitely precious 😭💖
I loved this book so much. I don‘t suffer from any of the the conditions Norah does, but I feel like I understand better because of the way this book was written.
Early morning reading since I don't seem to know how to sleep in on my days off.
Cold weather is a good excuse to drink more #coffee 😘☕️

Supposedly catching up on work reading but somehow this has found its way to my hands 😜 can't put it down....
We assume the best, but we can't choose how people perceive us. We can, however, choose how those view affect us.
Raiding my sisters book shelf and come across these gems 💎
I actually reorganized my bookshelf a few weeks ago, but the photo I took wasn't the best quality so here is an older photo 📚 In reality, my bookshelves are still under the color spectrum (what can I say? Rainbow is always the best choice 🌈) but how do you organize your shelves? 📖📖
Okay so @grownwomanreadya & @ambsreads have me so bloody excited to read this beautiful book 💕✨

YA about a teen dealing with anxiety, agoraphobia, and OCD. The details about how the MC experiences all of these in her day to day were very real and not sensationalized. Tied in with a romance but not in a "romance cures mental illness" way. TW: self-harm
As a person with mental illness, I loved this book. captured perfectly. Length of the book was perfect. Really enjoyed, can't wait to see what the author comes up with next :)
Tried to sit out and read but needed up getting distracted... I've been reading this book for an eternity, thinking of taking a break! #ya #yacontemporary #youngadult #yareads
Another great YA book that looks at mental illness. This time OCD and agoraphobia. It was raw and real and the perfect balance of seriousness and comedic relief. Nora saw herself as broken and as a stigma and I loved that her mom and Luke challenged that. Highly recommend.

The reason why I loved under rose-tainted skies is because it was not predictable. I loved this book from start to finish, it was so well written and Norah's character was so intriguing. I find books about mental health interesting and it was special to go along on Norah's journey. I loved it 🌹

Day 3 - #riotgrams How I read: so 9/10 I'm reading on public transport but I also love reading on my incredibly comfy sofa in my bedroom. Going to be sad to leave this when I'm in America and back home for the summer!
Always seem to be reading on trains...today's journey was to London in preparation for my US Embassy appointment. Very stressful but I made it! I've been reading this book for ages. You're probably getting sick and tired of seeing it, but I'm a slow reader - also the book isn't grabbing me to the point where I feel like I HAVE to sit down and read it, enjoying it in small doses is what I'm doing! #ya #yareads #yacontemporary #youngadult #yaromance
I have time to read!!! Lunch break at uni. Rehearsals are sooooo draining!! #ya #youngadult #yacontemporary
Cozied up on the sofa with a cup of tea and this marvellous book after a long, tiring day at uni. Dinner is cooking and I'm ready to relaaaaaaax before getting a nice early night. Honestly am I 20 or 60? Happy Wednesday! ☺️ #yareads #ya #yacontemporary #youngadult #cosy #yalit #yaliterature #yaromance
My bedroom sofa is so comfy, turning into my little reading space ☺️📖❤️ #reading #love #youngadult #comfy #ya #yalit #yacontemporary

Such and amazing and heartbreaking story. You can really feel Norah's struggle with her mental illness. I've had very few books that have made me one with the characters.
I was afraid that this was going to be about a guy saving a girl from her mental illness but it wasn't.
The author did an amazing job with this story and it will be forever a book I recommend to everyone I come in contact to and want recommendations lol.
