Vonnegut is one of a kind
Time to throw in the towel: I'm not gonna make my reading goal for this year. Otherwise, I might be inclined to not include a book I read in less than an hour. Now though? Eh.
A fun read, and a good vehicle for Vonnegut's sardonic wit.

GREEN is my favorite.
💚 I just happened to be wearing a green (ish) top today.
💚 A few green covers; heavy on the #Vonnegut.
💚 My boys brought this cute little turtle family to the breakfast table this morning (Shelly, Finny, and baby Shell Shell). 🐢🐢🐢
💚 And my green @outofprint mug full of coffee.
This is Vonnegut book number 24 for me. I inhale everything he writes that I can get my hands on, and it‘s not enough. 😫
My favorite color. 💚 #Green #ReadingResolutions
The premise was sorta weird and took a few interviews to get used to, but I liked it. Funny and intetesting and a super quick read!

I asked this heroic pet lover how it felt to have died for a schnauzer named Teddy. Salvador Biagiani was philosophical. He said it sure beat dying for absolutely nothing in the Viet Nam War.
DAY 24: #rainbowbookstack #riotgrams 🌈
Sounds like someone I would want to hang out with. I loved this book; but I love Kurt Vonnegut so I'm probably a little more than biased.
I had no idea who Vivian Hallinan was until I read this and when I searched her name on Google I was immediately impressed by her and immediately annoyed. She was a huge advocate for civil rights but all they talk about is her husband or her appearance. Some things don't change.
1.) I didn't know "Imaginary Conversations" was a subject ? and 2.) I love that acknowledgement.
This is a clever little compilation of interviews with a few of the residents of Heaven - unknown, famous, and infamous. Vonnegut (the humanist - small 'h') himself is conducting these interviews via intentional near death experiences facilitated by his buddy, Jack Kervorkian, M.D. The savvy Vonnegut reader would find it hilarious that the last person interviewed in heaven was Isaac Asimov.
Happy Birthday, Kurt Vonnegut, wherever you are. 🙃 Inspired by @OrangeMooseReads post and @EnidBiteEm #lazyphotochallenge!
PS. I thought I had more, but a lot are on my Kindle. Dear Santa, I need more hard copies!
I was lucky enough on this trip to interview none other than the late Adolf Hitler.
I was gratified to learn that he now feels remorse for any actions of his, however indirectly, which might have had anything to do with the violent deaths suffered by thirty-five million people during WWII. He and his mistress Eva Braun were among those casualties, along with four million other Germans, six million Jews, eighteen million members of the Soviet Union
Love this! #bookrainbow #somethingforsept 🌈📚
The title drew my attention. I stayed for the witticism and insight. This was the perfect bathtub reading while my boys napped today. Yes, I am aware of what an awesome life I have! 😉☺️
