Happy birthday to the oh-so-poetic Jandy Nelson. Reviewers have described her characters as so alive 'they glow in the dark' and able to 'fly into your heart'. True. #BookNDinner a la @MrBook and @BookBabe 😁 - Venison and beef chili with celery, zucchini, squash, garlic, bell peppers, carrots, onion and beans. It doesn't photograph well but it tastes delicious. And white wine (not from a box!!). 🙃
