#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Sorry for the late post - I missed my cue (haha - get it, because theatre?) Ch.16-end / review — as usual we were led down some dark passages in this one, and it hit close to home for Eve. The victim in this case was deplorable- and Eve ended up feeling for the killer. I thought the twist and reveal was pulled off nicely - Dame Christie would have been proud. ⬇️

I think this was the best in the series yet—aspects of Agatha Christie-esque mysteries are thrown into this one. Eve, Roarke, and thousands in the audience witness a murder on stage. But, it‘s not as clear cut as it seems. Eve also continues to battle her last, and elements of the investigation do not help. I love to see the characters developing! #InDeathLongReadalong

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.11-15: the more we learn about the victim Draco, the more he turns out to have been a really rotten guy. An altercation from 24 years ago is revealed and as Eve digs, she may have found more unsettling information about Draco and his last lover Carly. Secrets never stay buried. And this one is a real killer. Meanwhile, Roarke gives Mcnab dating advice to woo Peabody, and Eve tries to woo Roarke with a romantic dinner

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.6-10: Eve has a very interesting cast of characters to deal with - some of whom hated the deceased. We find out the victim was pretty much an a—hole and a sexual deviant (poor Nadine). He had a tape of her that if it got out would be pretty bad. What was he planning to do with it? Was that why he called her for dinner? Or was it just to discuss old times? ⬇️

#InDeathLongReadalong #IDLR Ch.1-5: All the world‘s a stage…we‘re thrust into the world of the theatre and the actors that live and breathe it. A man is killed in front of Eve and 3000 other people and the question is not who did the actual deed but who switched out the prop knife with a real one. The victim is much hated so there seem to be a lot of motives. ⬇️

Finished this on the way to our destination, reading in the dark with my neck light. Luckily my husband doesn‘t mind! Another great book from the In Death series!

So I love how these are written you see Eve and her crew working towards resolving the cases but she doesn‘t give you all the clues/information so you still have to figure it out with Eve it‘s really a fantastic way to hold interest to keep reading and find out if your right 😊📖

My favorite read from last week. Love this series.

I feel like these just keep getting better. The character development, the individual and collective storylines and the mysteries. Great narration on the audiobooks as well.

Dallas & Peabody investigate when the leading man in a play is killed onstage & it seems as if all his fellow actors had a good reason to want him dead. Meanwhile McNab is jealous that Peabody is still dating licensed companion Charles Munroe. 4🌟

I've got a whole stack of books in my tbr shelves that's been waiting for attention, so I'm going to continue this next book in the series.

Another solid addition to the series! Though I wish I'd had the time to get through it quicker, the suspects started to blur together so some of the twists weren't as impactful as they could have been with me trying to remember who the person was, haha.

But I'm finally up to double digits with this series! 10 down, 40 to go 🤣

Amazing - as expected from JD Robb!

4⭐️ | Got a bit grittier than i anticipated toward the end but I really guessed no part of the mystery! These books are really well put-together and it's so great falling back into this world, no matter how much time I spend away from it.

Currently reading some brain candy, Witness in Death by JD Robb! Always fun and easy to read.

So I meant to just sell some books and then look at the walls at my local Half Price, when I heard a voice saying my name in the mystery section, and I was like "hey girl hey"...
