I'm calling this reread...chapter 20, page 187. Boo. Convoluted plot, terrible associative disorder for the Protagonist to have and she spends so.much.time.mooning. over a co-worker, like, pages. I'm pretty sure I DNF'd this the first time too; saccharine without the sugary payoff, only crash for me. 🙅🏻

I don't have a ton of stationery, but I like to keep a stash of thank you cards on hand. This one's my favorite, obviously! #augustofpages #booksandstationery

For #day8 of the #augustphotochallenge we choose #booksthatmakeussmile - I pick Alison Pace's Pug Hill and its sequel A Pug's Tale. These cozy novels appeal to the pug crowd and my pug Dunkin' likes them too...as a chin rest while Donut looks on in mutual weirdness. #augustofpages

Absolutely adorable and exactly what I needed as a little break from a couple of heavy books. If you're looking for a quick, very light, everything works out in the end book, give this one a shot. Also, PUPPIES!
