1. The only book I‘ve read that had an UR was The Woman in the Window. Not a fan, but I suppose if done correctly, it could add to a story.
2. Magnetic bookmarks. Now I understand the hype surrounding them.
3. This was the first series where I couldn‘t wait to read the next book. Plus, Riordan incorporates Greek mythology that doesn‘t bore the reader.
#WondrousWednesday
1. I remember reading The Lightning Thief and was instantly hooked.
2. Any weather.
3. A winter coat, hat, and gloves. The high today was in the low 40‘s with a bit of a wind.
1. I just went tent camping for the 1st time last week & loved it!
2. Camp Wanderlust
3. Tagged book was the first I thought of
4. Read everyday & hopefully finish a few to keep my TBR under control.

Set between books 4 and 5, the demigod files is a “book meant for new incoming demigods.” Filed with fun activities, character art, interviews with some of the characters, and a few quests, this is a fun filled book that gives you a nice quick entrance back into this world.
It's been awhile since I last read this, but it's one of the few book series I remember clearly. Could have explored more with the characters, and don't bother keeping up with anyone's ages- but lovable characters and great plot twists.
Thanks @TheRiehlDeal for the tag & sorry @Cosmos_Moon for the late post!
1️⃣ My best friends who live in MD, NY, NC or DE. We usually see one another often, but COVID hasn‘t made that possible this year. I still haven‘t met my niece who was born in March. 😭
2️⃣ My health, My Family, My Partner Craig, and that I live with my Mom & siblings so we can all have Thanksgiving together. I‘m very blessed with that.

New books just came today. Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus #percyjackson #heroesofolympus #percyjacksonandtheolympians #rickriordan #percabeth #unclerick
#20Series20Days @Andrew65
This was the first series I was ever introduced to. Brings back memories.
P.S. I have not read a lot of series, but I do look forward to all the series everyone will post.
Rick Riordan's many books are allll about #TheQuest! (They are also about friendship and belonging, what it really means to be a hero, and some truly boss LGBTQ representation and I am here for all of it.) #TropesInAugust
@Klou
On to book 4. There are 5 books in here, so basically Kindle is such a handy reading gadget for me
I agree. Ebooks and audiobooks are fine in their own way, but nothing beats holding a real paper book in your hands.

@TK-421
reading the series. really good. i ship solangelo (nico and will are sooo cute together)i feel like i would be in hades cabin. What cabin are u in?
did you guys hear!?!? DID YOU GUYS HEAR!!!! Omg I‘m so excited for this. Finally after all these years Percy Jackson will get the adaptation it deserves! I need to finish my read through of the books now for sure (I was anyways lol) But from what I have read already I love the series! Apparently each season will be based on a book. And with Riordan himself overseeing it, I‘m holding faith it will be on par with the books!
Watching Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets with my six year old, and I pointed out that Percy (Weasley) was on the screen; so she can put names to faces...
And she goes, “Percy Jackson??”
So proud of the fandom knowledge 😂🙌🏻 Wrong fandom, but proud nevertheless.
Okay imma complete nerd with this book. The entire series, everything Percy Jackson. so ya I could go on forever.
One thing I need to mention about Rick Riordan's books is that the different series can overlap or influence each other, so don't be a dummy like me and have major plot points RUINED before you get to them in the relevant series.
Check a read order chart or something before you start, because as a result of being dumb, I had a few books where they were still good, but I knew what was coming and there was no tension at all.
Loved these books. Only read The Lightning Thief for ages, before I got my hands on the rest.
Definitely a great series for those who love adventure and mythology, specifically Greek mythology.
An absolute rollercoaster of ups and downs where your never quite sure if it will all work out, and sometimes it's gets pretty dicey, it will hold you and not let go until it all resolves.
Movies are a bit pants though...
I read 5 books in July & here‘s my breakdown:
2 Graphic Novels (Saga Vol 8 & 9)
1 Audiobook (Red Seas Under Red Skies)
1 Paperback (To All the Boys I‘ve Loved Before)
1 Ebook (Iron Gold)
Seeing that two of these were over 500 pages I‘m pretty happy with what I got read!
I‘m currently repping for Bookish Balm‘s Etsy store etsy.com/shop/bookishbalms & love this ocean breeze Percy Jackson body scrub! Use my code MERE10 to save on your next order!
I read the whole Percy Jackson series over the course of a couple days. I found them delightful! A very clever reinterpretation of Greek myths. I love a good fairytale, and this delivers.
1. Percy Jackson, Kate Daniels, Fever, Harry Potter
2. Relish?
3. Nose bleeds
4. 0 but now I have 2 sister-in-laws 😁
5. 👍🏻

I‘m not sure what Litten to tag, but I got a fun box from Axton delivered today. I love that name. Can‘t wait to open it.
Can‘t decide if that was a Percy Jackson lightning bolt or not. let the anxious waiting begin. #mythandlegendsJuniorswap

To my daughter‘s match, we own and have read the entire Percy Jackson and the Olympians series; Heroes of Olympus series. We have The first books in all of the Rick Riordan Presents series.
Non-fiction we have Weird but True Know-it-all Greek Mythology and a 60-second Myths Book.
We also have Percy Jackson Greek myths book.
I hope this helps.
The Cheshire Cat is a pranksters smartalic who is either causing trouble or laughing it off. But in his own way is also helpful.
So I give you Aries from Percy Jackson (or any mg middle grade book). He‘s helpful but in his own way with double speck and joking etc.

#24in48 Hour 30: Favorite Series | this is the series that made my life not just bearable but full of laughs during a particularly difficult time. So it‘s not an exaggeration to say it changed my life ♥️
“The world was collapsing, and the only thing that really mattered to me was that she was alive.”
I have never thought I would come past such a marvellous series , I have always seen people read it but I never thought I would read it , but when I started reading the first one I couldn't stop, I highly recommend reading them I am still in the forth book but Rick Riordan manages to keep a good laugh through the book as the level of suspence heightens.
Also, I never thought it would be that fun to read about the Greek mythology😁♥️

Day 25: book villain you actually love #30daybookchallenge
Pretty much all the villains that come up in this series, they were all just so awesome! I love the humour in Rick Riordan's writing, that made it so enjoyable!
I've missed this world.
3 short stories involving Percy and friends.
The interviews with the characters were a nice add.
Fun and full of adventure
1. That's nearly impossible to choose! Coco? Up? Finding Nemo? Incredibles? Toy Story 2? I can't pick one!
2. Yup! Prefer stick actually.
3. Percy Jackson immediately came to mind. I couldn't even finish it. There are more than this though.
4. I'm getting sick, so a whole lot of taking it easy with my kiddos. Maybe finally finish a book?
5. Will do! #friyayintro
@howjessreads
These are all great. I‘m reading them to my 9 year old, and he‘s completely engrossed. The Greek pronunciation is tricky for a kid reading by him or herself. I believe the story appeals slightly more to boys, as it‘s told from Percy‘s perspective. Still, girls aren‘t shorted in the plot, and I believe it will appeal to kids in general.
Finally, from Costco as well, I picked up this box set of the original Percy Jackson books. Last year I bought signed copies of the first two books of his Trials Of Apollo series, not realizing I need to read all these books first🤦🏻♀️Lucky this was only $23 for the set. #winnerwinnerchickendinner
The books are one of my favorite. I loved reading them and I couldn‘t stop reading them. Everyone who loves Fantasy should read it!
I just had a child share with me, as part of their identity, that they are a librocubicularist. (Of course I affirmed this).
My faith in our future is restored.
I have a thought I want to share about books. They take to so many different places. Recently, I was talking to a friend and we were discussing the troubles of life. I then told her that life would be so much better if I lived at Camp Half-Blood or if I was a student at Hogwarts. Then I realized... our lives are just as much as a story as Harry Potter‘s or Percy Jackson‘s. Like them, we need to strive to be victorious and faithful for the future.
Loved this series - and all subsequent series! Mythology is my bag 😀 as well as smart mouthed heroes with cool friends and interwoven tales of heroism!
Collection of Percy Jackson short stories. Fun.
Getting a bit hot from cleaning, so what better way to cool down than with some lemonade! And I obviously had to use my new camp half-blood cup from my #bookishbox
