The Cheshire Cat is a pranksters smartalic who is either causing trouble or laughing it off. But in his own way is also helpful.

So I give you Aries from Percy Jackson (or any mg middle grade book). He‘s helpful but in his own way with double speck and joking etc.

Is it cheating to actually pick the #cheshirecat? I bought him at Disneyland when I was a little girl. #favoriteanimalsidekick #chesirecat #novemberland

One of my favourite animal sidekicks is
Oberon from the Iron Druid Chronicles 😊
I only see now that Shattered is a different edition than the others. But the newest one, Staked, has a completly different format and doesn't fit next to the others, so its ok for me.
What about you all? Do you have to buy all books in a series in the same edition or is that cool, but optional to you?

Seekingtardis Oberon for the win!!!! I buy my favorite books in multiple editions and I pick the prettiest in series, even if they don't match, which drives my hubby CRAZY! 😍😍🦄 8y
Bookworm54 I prefer them to match and get annoyed if the publishers change the format part way through a series (women of the Otherworld, and Mercy Thompson are 2 such series) but I don't go out of my way to make them match in these cases. But if I know I can get them to match, I will! ☺️ 8y
