I am so glad I finally reread this series. Though this was my 16th time reading this one, it was my first time reading it as an adult and on audiobook. So many emotions! So many things I appreciate more now! 💕 I will never not love this story, this world, and these characters! Hogwarts is my home!

This was probably my favorite volume in this spin off. Wendy‘s date arc was adorable and I liked the ending. Overall though I wouldn‘t recommend this series and I‘m kinda glad it‘s over 😅

Definitely not my favorite series. I didn‘t hate this one, but the plot, like the second book, seemed forced. Also I really ended up not liking Max...Jessa is a sweetheart who deserves better...Max was a bit of a neanderthal.

This book is a great read for anyone who loves fan fiction and especially fans of distopian novels. I really enjoyed the story and the way the author brought not only the fan fiction, but the fictional novel The Gallow‘s Dance, to life! I read it on audiobook and I have to say I was not a fan of the narrator. I‘d give the audiobook 3 stars, but the book itself is definitely 4 stars for me!

Read this for book club. I definitely enjoyed some parts but it wasn‘t my favorite. It took me forever to finish it. I just didn‘t want to pick it up when I put it down.... I will continue with the series, though.

I fell in love with Gauri‘s character in The STQ so I adored her story! In The STQ I didn‘t really know the characters well enough to care about them, but Gauri and Vikram captured my heart from the get go, as well as Asha! Her character was strong and curious and she made me laugh it loud. The language was just as flowery as the first book, but I felt Crown of Wishes to be more profound in its poetic observations.

Wow! Had to take a few minutes to breathe after finishing this romantic masterpiece! For me this was one of those books that made me rethink what a five star modern romantic comedy looked like! I will be forever comparing everything to this! I can‘t get over the writing!! The words on each page are like puzzle pieces that fit perfectly together. I can‘t recommend this book enough! There aren‘t many romances I reread, but this is going on the list!

I read this for my Getting Teen Trashed book club (the theme was romance). I went into this expecting a cute YA romance, something that would make me laugh and smile. It definitely did that, but I also cried a lot, especially at the beginning. As an oldest sister from a broken family there were a lot of triggers for me and it just made me want to call my Laura Jean and tell her I love her. I can‘t wait to pick up the next one!

I really enjoyed the first book and I liked the characters a lot, but this one just fell a bit flat to me. There were a lot of wordy conversations that felt forced and the writing style felt a bit juvenile. There were also some scenes where Logan acts like a total jerk, and it left a sour taste in my mouth. That being said, I will still pick up the next one because the new MC was a minor character in the last two that I really like!

I am surprised by how much I ended up liking this book. The Nutcracker is one of my favorite Christmas stories and every time I‘ve read a retelling I‘ve been disappointed. The first half was really slow and I felt no connection to the main character. At the half way point I felt like my perception shifted. I appreciated the writing style differently. It made me think and question things. If you like the Nutcracker, this is worth reading.

Another one I‘m temporarily DNFing this. I loved the stories I got to in the collection, I just didn‘t get around to finishing it before Christmas time was over. I will definitely pick it up again during Christmas in July! There are some great stories in here!
