📘 I like to plan. However, mostly just the big stuff. Too much planning leads to unnecessary stress.
📘 Tagged. Lots of unplanned stuff in this story, i.e. love, death, pregnancy, betrayal, etc. It was a really good story and is part of a series but can be read as a stand-alone.

I ran across this quote from the book Lukas by Carian Cole. This book is my favorite of the Ashes and Embers series. The depth of Lukas's character was fabulous. This quote hit home for me because I feel people hide themselves behind not only tattoos but also clothes, makeup, and other material things.

This is book three of the Ashes & Embers series about a rock band made up of family members. These books can be read out of order as I did. Another great story with real characters and I loved going on this journey with them. 4.5⭐️

Rockstar Romance

This one is ok but not great. I don‘t know if it‘s Ivy or just the storyline in general but it just didn‘t speak to me like the second book in this series did.

Holy mama this was so freaking good. I was about to give up on this series after Vandal, but I didn't and I read this book and I was completely blown away. Lukas is so damn hot. He is 24 and he gets involved with Ivy, who is recently separated from her husband. She has a 7 year old son and a 17 year old daughter, and she's 36. She is shy and insecure about her age, she thinks that a relationship with a 24 year old won't work out. Really good story

YES! Loved Lukas so, so much. A super sweet romantic who's a badass with a violin, all wrapped up in a seemingly "bad boy" tattooed package? Sign ?? me ?? up! ? #romantsy

(At this point I kind of feel like I need to own some of this Ashes & Embers merch they keep talking about, I'm turning into a fan girl ?)

Love an older (but not old because she‘s the same age as me 😂) woman/younger man romance done right. This was a really good book. #romance #romantsy
