It took me a little while to get into the story, but once I was into it, I absolutely loved it. The lush setting of Paris was so magical, and I loved the unique take on sort of guardian angels, the system and way it worked as so original. The romance was very instalove, but I didn't mind, and Vincent was such a romantic love interest. I liked the action towards the end, and though I guessed the plot twists, I liked it. The ending was perfect too!

I loved this book because of the concept and the characters. I thought the concept was brilliant because it was interesting and very engaging. The characters were able to lead the plot perfectly, and I love how they interacted with each other. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes thrillers with a small horror element. This book is very violent so do read with caution, and it is very graphic.

I absolutely loved this book. I read it in a day and I‘ll definitely pick up the rest of the trilogy. I really enjoyed that this YA paranormal romance wasn‘t the usual vampires and werewolves...but I can‘t say what it really was because that would ruin the story for you.

Loved this book and the subsequent series. A very unique take on the idea of a zombie. Completely not what you're expecting. Set in the beautiful city of Paris, the reader is transported to a very different underground world of good and evil. I became a fan of the heart fluttering phrase by Vincent ..."Mon Ange,"

I spent the rest of my day in someone else‘s story. The rare moments that I put the book down, my own pain returned in burning stabs. I felt like a circus knife thrower‘s target. If I held my mind immobile, I might avoid being hit by the blades whizzing by my head.
