This straight up spoke to me. Even out of context. Especially out of context. There is the logical, analytical, academic part of the brain… and then there is the fear, anxiety, panicky part of the brain. This book really did rise above the smut (but that part was awesome, too).

I picked this one up after reading, The Hunting Wives, by Cobb, which was a sexy, guilty pleasure thriller. I've been having a #bookhangover from #OurKindofGame, so I've been hoping for another great read, and so far this is tickling my fancy! 😉 Will update with final thoughts.
Soo I have definitely been in a reading slump since I finished Fourth Wing. But this is my book clubs pick for October and it checked out today! Hopefully this will help me get back in the groove as I have started 2 other ebooks and still haven‘t finished my audiobook 😬.

pickThis has been an autumn of all things Sleepy Hollow for me, and Henry‘s reimagining of the legend did not disappoint. It‘s spooky, atmospheric, sad, and hopeful. Something evil stalks the Hollow. Is it the Headless Horseman or something else? It‘s up to the only grandchild of Brom Bones and Katrina Van Tassel to figure it out. The ending was absolute perfection. #bookhangover
