Excellent murder mystery with well developed characters and the misleading twists that make a book like this good. Torn apart by murder and reunited by a murderer, a brother and sister actually learn how to love family.
Does anyone else always take a book with them everywhere they go?
This to me was a slow read, too much was repeated, in some places it dragged. I will still continue to read Lisa's books, I am a big fan.
I'm usually a fan, but this one wasn't one of those.it got a but slow and predictable. But I wanted a "beach/mindless read" and it was that.
I loved this book. I felt like it was a little predictable at times, but it was still heart pounding and a page turner all the same. Not to mention, the characters were all incredibly flawed but lovable in their own right. I will definitely be reading more by her in the future!
Fantastic book!! Keeps the suspense building and makes it so you can‘t put it down! LOVE this author!!!
The older brother killed their lousy parents and hurt his sister. Now she‘s getting adopted by profilers and he‘s killed his foster parents. Obviously it‘s all about him.
Starting this today! Read a few motivational books for the new year and need a good thriller to get wrapped up in. Hope it‘s good!
Lisa Gardner is the type of author that knows our fears and speaks directly to them. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time I was reading! I loved this book! What a thrill!
⭐⭐⭐⭐
This book hooked me right from the get-go. I couldn't put it down. However, the last third or so of the book lost a bit of momentum for me; hence the 4 stars instead of 5. But, all-in-all, a good read.
Loved this book so much I didn‘t want to put it down. Lisa Gardner is one of my favorite authors.

From the ever growing tbr shelf!! And one from you @BookaholicNatty 😘
I really enjoyed this thriller. The story kept me engaged throughout. I thought I had things figured out and am glad I was wrong.
Started off pretty good, then slowed down towards the middle. Wasn‘t too impressed with the end. Not what I expected but did keep my interest as I had to find out ultimately what happened to Telly.

Thought I'd try a Lisa Gardner. Chose this cause...Well, it was available. Had mixed feelings. While I related to some of it (I like connecting w/the subject matter), the story as a whole didn't do much for me. I get the feeling I didn't choose her best work. Anyone read her? Should I give it another go? The writing wasn't, say, Greg iles, level but it was an easy read & i was able to finish it. more than I can say 4 others I've tried. Suggestions?
Here's hoping this one helps me get through my house cleaning chores 🎧 I love Lisa Gardner ❤
5⭐️RIght Behind You is a gripping and intense suspense thriller that will have you reading all night long! There was so much about this book to love. The story is fast and intense, and you can‘t stop turning the pages. The characters are real. If you know Lisa Gardner, you know Quincy and Rainie, this is her seventh novel about these criminal profilers. https://lharvey250.tumblr.com/post/160607887289/right-behind-you-lisa-gardner-my...
The FBI Profiler series made its way back to readers after almost a decade with book #7 and WOW what an adrenaline-charged plot. Unputdownable, twisty!

Day 1 of really diving into the story. It started out so eerie but captivating so you know I'm hooked!
A very readable mystery, just complex enough to keep you guessing through most of it. 4 stars.
Last minute airport bookstore purchase as I didn't want to be without a book. My first of hers, but it won't be my last. Tightly wound story, interesting characters and some great dogs! What more could you want in a fast moving mystery. I saw the ending coming but was so invested in the story, I didn't mind one bit!
Finally getting a chance to post my goodies from @Read4life during the #bibliophilebookexchange. I'm so happy that In The Woods was one that you choose for me. As I was picking out books for you, this was one I contemplated on buying a copy for myself to read as well! And the cat coin purse and book mark is perfect! Thank you so much!
Eight years ago Sharlah Nash's older brother beat their drunken father to death with a baseball bat to save them from Dad after he had killed their mom. Now at 13, she may have found a forever family with FBI profiler Pierce Quincy and his partner Rainie Conner, a former cop. Then there is a double murder at a nearby gas station and reason to suspect her brother. Is Telly Ray hero or killer? Sharlah and her new family need answers quickly.
This is a great book. Not as dark as Find Her (my first book from the author) but I enjoyed it especially the police/detective works by Quincy, Rainie and the team. I love the characters in this book and the story will surely remain with me for quite a long time. It's emotional, beautiful and captivating.
I really loved this book! The characters were likeable and interesting. The story was never dull. It's a pick for me!
4.5 stars!! This book was so good. I loved the characters. The story Lisa Gardner told through the detectives, Sharlah, and Telly was heart wrenching. This aspect made for the crimes at hand to be even more devastating. I couldn't put this book down.
Outdoor chores done and I'm taking a break before indoor one while it is still beautiful outside. Sadie is checking out my new read from the library across the street!
So my plan had been to walk across the street and register the dogs in our new town. The town clerk was closed but the library was open. Instead I got a library card and a book (like I needed another right now). *squeal* yes, the library is right across the street!
After months of manic, we're embracing a work around the house weekend. This is my break book of the day. #suspense #amreading
I'm working at @FountainBookstore this morning and afternoon for #IndependentBookstoreDay, and I have book club tonight and a very sick kitty to take care of, so not sure how much reading I'll get done. But I love Dewey's #Readathon, so I'll do my best to participate a little!
Loved this book and love this author. So many twists and turns I didn't see coming. Family is everything and comes in all shapes and sizes. What would you do for family? Sharlah and Telly are the main characters and what they do for all family is inspirational!!!
Happy Easter to me! Hope everyone had a great day 😊🐰🐣
