3.75⭐
•After not liking The Locked Door by this author, I found it difficult to try another by her. I finally caved in the spur of the moment and tried this one after a couple of DNFs of other books. And guess what, I didn‘t hate it, although the narrator was much better in this one. Also, the twists weren‘t completely out of left field so that helped.

In You Can‘t Catch Me we are introduced to our main character Jessica Williams. She meets another Jessica Williams also known as Jessica 2. Jessica 2 steals her identify and steals all of her money. Now her and her friend Liam are on a mission to try track down Jessica 2 and get her money back.

mylee.stroeve If you read this book and enjoyed it then you may enjoy The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins. They both have experiences and challenges that keep the readers guessing. This book is written in the first person point of view since we see from the perspective of the narrator Jessica Williams. The symbol represents Jessica Williams because I see her as someone who never gives up. She had a rough life then got everything stolen but she hasn‘t given u 2w

This is one McFadden book that I‘ve seen get a lot of mixed reviews but, I really enjoyed it and glad I finally picked it up!

It has been a crazy past few weeks, so I've been listening to more audiobooks than usual. Enjoying my latest selections so far. There are some narrators that just don't do the job for me, but the performers for this audiobook were outstanding! Nice, twisty piece of reading!

I really, really enjoyed this one! Freida's twists are absolutely wild 🤣 it's 50/50 whether or not I figure it out with her books but I didn't see this one coming!

4 Stars • The Coworker by Freida McFadden is a psychological thriller centered around two women, Dawn Schiff and Natalie Farrell, who work at Vixed, a nutritional supplement company. The story begins when Dawn doesn't show up for work one morning, prompting concern from Natalie. ⬇️

suvata The situation escalates when Natalie receives an anonymous phone call saying "Help me," which sounds like Dawn's voice. As the investigation unfolds, it becomes apparent that Dawn was more than just an awkward outsider; she was targeted by someone close to her. 1mo

It's a bail but I'm not mad at it. I think it is a very well executed cross between Bridget Jones Diary and Dexter. If you are in the mood for graphically violent female rage then I would defo try it. Lots of respect for Skuse as a writer.

But you know I recently unsubbed from Netflix because I felt it was funnelling serial killer content into my head. And this is a bit murderporny, just enough to cross a personal line.
