Finished this one this past weekend. I spent a lot of time in the spa at Atlantic City and so I was able to listen to the whole thing :)
It was good. Not great, I think it had more potential. But.. I did like some of the rules of the “Pact“.

Ready to start this, it's been in my Audible Plus library for quite some time so I'm done My Lovely Wife so I'm ready to drive right in. I'm doing a solo readathon this weekend because I have a bunch of Audible Plus books to listen to. Sounds like serious relationship time.
This was an edge-of-your-seat thriller about a cult-like club intended to strengthen marriages and keep them whole, but with some sinister and questionable methods. There's oddly some good relationship tips in here, and I loved the chapters about Jake's therapy patients. Definitely darker than I expected, but a fun read! It's one of Audible's premium free options.
A newly married couple joins a secret society called The Pact. The Pact promises that your marriage will last forever if you just follow a few rules. Of course, things quickly get out of hand, with overly severe punishments for breaking any of the rules. The book was interesting but a little unbelievable. Joining a secret society always ends badly.
I slept all evening decided to start a new audio book!
A newly married couple gets sucked into a cult that focuses on marriages. I really liked it! Every (short) chapter I wanted to know immediately what came next. And next. And next. How does it end?? I‘m not sure I liked the end, and the choice, but I recommend the book. Two thumbs up for a fast-paced read!
2.75/5. I started liking this book but the farther I got into it the more I shook my head. I know this is fiction and not to take it seriously and I know that this possibly could happen but oy. It got more fantastical as the book went on.
I proposed to my partner this past Tuesday and they said yes! We're so excited we've barely been able to focus all week.
Y‘all. This book is so creepy. Newlyweds have been approached to join The Pact, a group of folks determined to help marriages survive. Law, these people had no idea what they were getting into😳
But these are seriously my plans tonight... anyone else?

My reading partner for the night. I can‘t tell if my book is boring him. 🤔 😻
Not to sure how I felt about this one!! I liked it but didn‘t really care for the ending!! Wish it ended with a little more details! Like six months later... or something like that!! #themarriagepact #So-So
Such a nice day so I thought I would read a little outside!!! #springishere Has anyone read this yet? Just got it and hoping it‘s good!!🤞🤞📖📖
The story of newlyweds who join an exclusive group whose intention is support and strengthen their marriage. An thrilling read that had me on the edge of my seat. Will definitely be reading more by this author.
Hello, Friend. I know a lot of people really liked this but I‘m on the fence. It dragged for me and I didn‘t like how it ended. There were parts that I devoured and some where I was bored. 🤷🏻♀️
The book seems far fetched, but it reminded me of the stuff you hear from former Scientology members. The narrator on the audio book is great at Irish accents.
Well. This CERTAINLY kept me turning the pages!!! Even despite my relentless adulting this week. It was intriguing and I kept wanting to see how it would eventually play out. Even with that factor, this book wasn‘t memorable for me. Engrossing story, and I was shocked by who the eventual ‘villain‘ was. Unfortunately the ending was even less believable than the outrageous premise! Overall I liked it, but I didn‘t love it. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ 1/2 out of 5
I‘m in the midst of this page turner and I can‘t turn the pages fast enough!!!! This book reminds me of The Firm! I‘m just wondering if Jake and Alice will escape the Pact!🤨📚💕
I picked this one purely to complete a Pop Sugar Prompt (Author with the same name as me) and I didn't expect to love it as much as I did. While it isn't anything that's going to knock your socks off, it was a page turner for me and I was happily surprised at how interesting, and honestly a little disturbing, it was. Recommended to anyone who loves a page turning thriller. 3.75🌟 #93of2018 📚🖤
Whoa! Hooked from the beginning and wasn‘t disappointed. One of my favorite books of the year.
Picked this one up while browsing around one of my favorite Indie bookstores! Really digging the cover and it sounds deliciously suspenseful!
Had to run errands today and hope to catch up tomorrow #8intwo #buddyread #weekend #book #booklover #bookobsession
Got this book at bookcon2018. Great read with enough twists and turns to make me want to read to the end. #bookcon2018 #randomHouse #thriller #summerread
Michelle Richmond gave an engaging presentation on her novel The Marriage Pact at the Alabama Book Festival. She drew on research about cults, marriage, and privacy issues in an era of electronic monitoring.
I really hated this book and am bailing on this. Stupid premise!
Finishing this up today while cleaning house.
Friend, you must read this thriller! A newlywed couple is invited to join the Pact. They think it‘s all fun and games until they break some of the rules because they didn‘t read “The Manual.” Some of the punishments are really out there and extreme. I really liked the two main characters, Jake and Alice - and the book is told from Jake‘s POV which is refreshing.
To start with the concept was good..then for me personally it got a bit 2 far fetched.. I was thinking like..really?.. this wouldn't happen. Also disappointed by the end.. overall was a OK read but wouldn't rave about it 😁
The main characters join a marriage cult in this thriller. Will they both make it to the end of the novel? I definitely recommend that you find out. Seriously. This was really good. 💖📚

Loved this book and the characters 📚 such an unexpected and chilling thriller, would defo recommend giving it a read.
Quick read very intriguing and a good storyline! Unsure about the end but still thoroughly enjoyed the story!
Well seems as I‘ve read 4 Chris carter books in sucession at the start of this year I‘m going to have a break from murder and read #themarriagepact by Michelle Richmond. Here goes..... 👍🏻📚
Good book. Interesting predicament but frustrating main characters.
First day back to school. Back home in the freezing cold, snuggled I to my pjs and just finished my first book of 2018. Looks like this one is next...
I found myself reading the second half of this all in one night just to see what was going to happen.. a good mix of thriller and suspense, with the underlying tone of marriage and how to make it work or not.
