Although it's past Christmas-time, I have only just finished this book. It was such a lovely read, a fun story with sweet imagery and a very comforting feel. L Frank Baum has a way with prose that speaks to the longing we all have, somewhere, for the magic that is in the world if we can be pure at heart enough to see it.

This is a very creative origins story for Santa Claus created by L. Frank Baum. It reads a great deal like fantasy fiction with faeries, wood nymphs, and countless mythical creatures. That was a bit much for me. However, the story is cute and fun and I especially enjoyed Santa in his elder years. Also, parents could reference various points the author makes to explain how Santa is able to do such magical things! 3.5/5

I adore this story and watched it all the time as a kid with my grandma. I had no idea it was a book until I was looking for a sleep meditation two nights ago. If you use Insight Timer they have this in two parts under the sleep stories section- I highly recommend! #merryreaders #wintergames

Another Santa story that I was familiar with due to watching old animated movies but never read the story it was based on! I loved this one, it was an adorable tale of how Santa came to be and how gift giving went from a small town to the whole world one night a year! I just didn‘t care for the Reindeer names in this story haha.

The Life & Adventures of Santa Claus by L. Frank Baum has become one of my favorite Christmas books ever. I have always been a little obsessed with Santa because I love the magic of it all. There's honestly nothing better than a Santa story for me, so I was going to enjoy this book no matter what. It is a great story. L. This was a sweet, little book, which definitely brings some Christmas cheer. I didn't love it, but I liked it.

And there is nothing better, than when your mom is a reader too, so you can sit and read next to each other ❤

So Christmas is technically over here in Denmark, and I have had a lovely evening. I am celebrating with the in-laws tomorrow, so it isn't completely over for me, so I am keeping up the Christmas spirit with this fun, little book. Happy holidays sweet people! ❤
