Snow Day!: A Winter Tale | 
🌨❄️🌬💨My wish was granted! SNOW DAY!!!🌨❄️🌬💨
We really didn‘t get a ton of snow, but the wind is terrible so there‘s a bunch of power outages and driving conditions are terrible. I‘m going to make sure I take time to finish a book today
Snow in Vegas and I get a snow day tomorrow! I‘ve now had the same number of snow days growing up in Chicago as I have teaching in Las Vegas - 1!! But this sick teacher could use a day to rest and read.

Trust me it didn‘t snow this much overnight here in Abbotsford; snowed from about Sunday night until sometime earlier this morning. But it‘s my second snow day in a row, which is rare in these parts. And I read for about 5 minutes before dropping off to sleep last night. I watched maybe 5 minutes of GG in bed b4 going to sleep @ around 11 pm

It‘s so beautiful! There‘s more snow on the way tonight here in the greater Seattle area. Will there be classes tomorrow? Waiting to find out . . . Back to the books. ❄️💙
So my date with Michelle Obama was cancelled due to #snowmageddon in the #pnw 😕❄️. But that just means I have the opportunity to read lots & lots & lots while I‘m tucked away this weekend. I‘ve got lots of choices here - things for #192019 , some @gettbr picks, some #botmbacklist picks. The hard choice will be between hot cocoa or wine🤷🏻♀️

Yet again another day of crappy weather and therefore another snow day! I could be productive but who I am kidding, my couch, blanket and book sound like a much better option!
Classes are cancelled. This teacher gets to stay home. Maybe I will rearrange and dust my bookshelves.
So we have no school today or tomorrow. Here are my reads for today. Plans include #audiobook puzzling/cleaning and curling up with some romance books and my dogs. -50 F wind chills expected today! For everyone else in the Northern half of the US stay warm! #snowday #romantsy
Well we have about 5cm of snow and I'm off work. This country is embarrassing when it comes to it!

Our Snow Day, measured in birdhouses. I'm glad to be home on reading days, before work again for Friday. ❄️ We're feeling hopeful about moving to a decent townhouse, to be ready by our negotiated deadline here in March. The spot doesn't really have anyone else ahead in line, as we set plans for seeing the house next week. 🤞
Well, we got about 6 inches of snow over night and it is still coming down therefore school is canceled, so I am going to curl up with my snow day drink!

Snow definitely made an appearance! 🌨 I wish I‘d taken a before picture (there was nothing but bare branches & wind blown leaves). 🍂 This morning we woke to a winter wonderland. It finally stopped around 3PM, but it‘s scheduled to snow again tonight, until Wednesday. My plans to head outside have been deterred (no plows until 15 mins. ago) & that large white space in the middle of the picture...mountains covered in a cloud bank. 🏔 #LitsyWalkers

We are in Tahoe celebrating a friend‘s birthday and we went on a walk in the snow this afternoon! It‘s cold and snowy and very cozy inside. Of course, while we were out, I had to write in the pristine snow and show my love for BOOKS 📚!!

2. Yes, snows too dang much in WI, we are expecting a second accumulating snowfall tonight😫
3. Call in to work! 😂 Binge watch a show, stay in my jammies, make cookies.
4. Playing cards, reading, knitting, watching holiday movies with my kiddos

I think the tri-State area underestimated the first winter storm of the season. Lots of delayed openings this morning, and although I don‘t work at a school, my office is delayed as well.
I can‘t tell you the last time I wasn‘t up and ready for work by now! I should take the next hour and read. I should... but I‘m sleepy. Can I go back to bed?

2. Unfortunately yes. We had our first snow fall on Tuesday and I‘m already done with it.
3. I never had a snow day while I was at school and my 3 kids have only had 1 snow day in 15 years - and that was last year. It takes a lot of snow to keep Montrealers off the roads!
4. Sitting inside my warm and cozy home reading or watching my shows. Give me summer everyday and I would be a happy girl. 🏖☀️

We got a little Winter on our Autumn. This would be a perfect reading day. It is too bad I have to work and be adult today instead of hiding in a blanket fort with a cup of hot coco.
The snow is coming down and I want nothing more than to be at home with my book but alas I am stuck at work...
