Do Beavers Eat Poutine?: Cool Canadian Quizzes | Helaine Becker

Yesterday's poutine at a local Canadian-themed bar/restaurant. Followed by a very indifferent tea that did not taste at all of maple. The poutine was nice, though, and the portion was very generous. My toppings were smoked meat, onions, mushrooms and brown sauce. I felt full all day!

LeahBergen I‘ve been somewhat hesitant (and intimidated) to join any sort of pen pal thing because I‘m sure I wouldn‘t keep up and then I‘d be a “bad pen pal”. 😆😆 (edited) 6y

PurpleyPumpkin I‘ve been thinking that I‘d like to get involved in a group pen pal exchange. But all the groups have seemed so huge that I was put off a bit. If it‘s a small group and there aren‘t too many firm deadlines, I‘m in! Like @LeahBergen I don‘t want to considered to be a bad participant if I fall a bit behind. RaimeyGallant I have always been a terrible pen pal unfortunately. Like, the worst. I moved from NS to Manitoba in grade nine, and could only manage a month of it...thank goodness facebook came along because it was my opportunity to reconnect. 6y

After much deliberation, and an arm@injury from stitching (who knew you could hurt yourself performing passive crafts?) I have decided on a book for #PoutineAndPaperbacks Round 3.

So, the photo is of the offending stitching project (which I‘m completely in love with and that‘s probably why I‘m hurt - stitching 12 hour days on end).
