These books really are so much fun! There is some bullying and exclusion in this book, which honestly just made me relate to Morrigan but she always had her found family and a surprising new friend on her side. This world really is magical.

Starting the audio for the next book in the Morrigan Crow series this morning.
Slower in pacing but no less imaginative than the first. This is a fantastically fun series.
"you'd be surprised how much it can help if you just remember to keep breathing."
Saturday morning looks just fine, and rainy enough outside to justify staying in

Another cute younger read. Sometimes, that is what you need, something young and fun.

Didn't take me long to get through the second Morrigan Crow book, and it was every bit as good as the first one, possibly even better. I'm really looking forward to seeing where the author takes the story next.
Loved this second book in the Nevermoor series. Was able to finish this one today. This series is so fun and though it's over 500 pages, it is a quick read. I know the 3rd book is now out so will hopefully get it sooner rather than later.
Another fun read! I‘m very much enjoying this series.
These are just easy, fun, magical books to read. The whole way through I was rooting for Morrigan. These books bring out your inner child and desire for dreams and magic and the possibility of the impossible.

This second book in the series was less derivative than the first and I look forward to seeing where the rest of the series leads. Listening with Trixie in the car is not necessarily conducive to following complex plots and, although not overly complex, I did sometimes wonder whether I had missed something. Nevertheless, it was a bit of fun, a bit macabre but not too scary. Moving on to number three, Hollowpox.
obsessed with this cute MG series
I think Amazon calls up Audible when there‘s going to be a sale & tells them ... let‘s get ALL of their money 😆 $5 audiobooks! I have a TBR a mile high, what‘s 4 more? I love saving the covers I‘m interested in to my camera roll & then culling until I‘m down to 4 from 24. SHOP SHOP SHOP BOOKS BOOKS BOOKS!! Perfect afternoon! 😁 I keep the cast offs in my Photos for Hoopla/Libby & each time I find one I think cha ching, saved $5! #BookHaul
I needed a nice little “happy“ read to ge the going. I have been having a hard time with catching up on my reading with so much going on lately but... I think this will help as its not super intense and the first one was just such a great great story!
@CeBee Thanks for recommending this series!
I absolutely love these books as they are a fun break from reality. I am looking forward to diving into Hollowpox soon, as well. Few books feel as magical as the Nevermoor series, and the audiobooks are fantastic if you get a chance to listen. The narrator does all the different voices and the musical interludes add to the charm.
I loved this book 😍 my youngest child has just gotten hooked on this series as well. My review is here: https://link.medium.com/bkfIP5NZYab
Ohhh I am not a person that like series but this one I will read! I love it so much! Morgan and her friends are amazing! Highly recommended! The #Nevermoor world is becoming a better and better

I'm halfway through this second book of the Nevermoor series. I'm loving it!
I'm supposed to lead a book club for kids on this book. I wonder if anybody has suggestions for questions? I'm at a loss! Thanks!
I enjoyed Wundersmith even more than Nevermoor. I loved seeing into the Wunderous Society, and all the magical features of the school and the hotel. Then, there was the mystery to solve, which kept me guessing until the last third of the book. Truly amazing a fun, engaging middle school read (that clearly appeals to all ages!) Bring on Hollowpox!!
Book 80 audio
This was as good or better than the first. I was completely crushed when I saw the 3rd book doesnt come out until October. But I bought the first two in hard cover and pre-ordered the 3rd. Shared these two with my 14 year old and had to get on her case today as she was reading in her virtual class instead of paying attention. 🤣
We may have to thumb wrestle to see who gets to read the 3rd book first.
5/5🌟
Magnificent! Love this! ESPECIALLY on audio!
This is the closest thing I've found to Harry Potter. It's a different story, but gives me a lot of the same feels as HP. But..don't go in with HP expectations, enjoy the book as you did your first read through of HP and I think you'll be enamored just like me. Hoping this is made into a movie! 🤞 ❤️💜💛
This book is wonderful! I'm enjoying it so much! I can't get over how great the narrator is for the audiobook!
My rose petal bath was also pretty darn wonderful 🌹
It's about time I get around to the sequel to Nevermoor! The audiobooks are so lovely to listen to. Highly recommend!
My March TBR! Excited to get some Middle Grade books in this month! What are you reading?

Just as fun as the first one and left me excited to find out more about the world. One issues was that some big reveals didn‘t seem to get the reaction you would expect. Overall though a strong sequel.
This series makes me so happy!
Started this recently and I am loving every moment of it! It goes great with a heated blanket and a cup of cocoa. #Wundersmith #JessicaTownsend #books #reading #Nevermoor #read
What a delight. So looking forward to the next book in the series.
So good! Excellent sequel. I know these are kids books, but I can‘t wait for the next one to come out
Great sequel! New and different adventures help Morrigan grow and expand her skills.
This is the most fun middle grade series I‘ve read in a long time! Morrigan is so relatable and fun and sometimes heartbreaking. I love the adventure, the friendship, the magic and learning all about wunder! I want to jump in and meet these fun kids and it‘s a book that brings out the happy! I need so many more in this series!

Easily in my top 5 of books published last year. Probably even top 3.
It definitely scratches that Harry Potter itch. ❤️

4 ⭐️ for Wundersmith: the Calling of Morrigan Crow by Jessica Townsend.. I really enjoyed this one as well! I can‘t wait to read the rest of the series and see what else happens to all of the characters! Super fun book!!

Sorry about the late post. Was sick last 2 days.
It has been in the 90s here all week so I‘m using this snow pic while dreaming of cooler weather.

There are undoubtedly similarities between the Morrigan Crow series and Harry Potter but there are also distinct differences and I love the both. Wundersmith was just as great as the first book and I can‘t wait til book 3 comes out!
I loved the sequel to Nevermoor and I am invested in these characters. I am glad this series is going to continue and I look forward to the next book.
I‘ve had some trouble settling on my next book and in the end have decided on the Potter-esque junior/middle grade fiction. It‘s book two in the Morrigan Crow series and us quite fantastical.
I was delighted to be back in Nevermoor with Morrigan Crow and her patron Jupiter as she finally enters the prestigious Wundrous Society, the trials of which she passed in the first book. But things aren‘t getting any easier for young Morrigan. She might be in the society but all they want to teach her is how evil Wundersmiths like her are. Also people are going missing and someone is blackmailing her class. More👇
The second in the series, Wundersmith continued the story of Morrigan Crow. The story takes us to the education of the newest members of the Wundrous Society. People are missing and mystery ensues. This is my Harry Potter series and I can‘t wait until the next installment. The author has signed to do a third but envisions nine books. Oh how I hope her vision becomes a reality.
⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 Stars
A great book. I love the land of Nevermoor and the themes of friendship and loyalty. This is a great series for those who love Harry Potter.
Meet Lucy. She loves on any book I happen to set down where she can reach it. I can't figure out if she loves books because I do, or because it smells like me after I've been holding it for awhile, or if this is just a weird quirk of hers.
