I enjoyed this book but there are elements of the hero‘s story that are sad and disturbing. Loved the character development.

You know it‘s a good book when I wake up early to finish it! I absolutely loved everything about Reaper and Anya - the angst and drama and forgiveness and love. This book was exactly why I love Feehan.

This is the first book in a new series by Christine Feehan. It is about Torpedo Ink, a motorcycle gang with a horrific past in Russia. There is a mild paranormal element here, with various members exhibiting "gifts" like the ability to influence other's thoughts. Other than the setting, this book follows the Christine Feehan formula of a damaged yet dominant man finding his one true love.

Some of the subject material in Judgment Road was very hard to read because just the idea of what had taken place in the lives of these characters when they were children was just disturbing. I loved that they bound themselves together and developed their own family. The scenes where they went to take down the bad guys, absolutely epic.…. It had been a while since I last read a Christine Feehan book, but I absolutely loved Judgement Road. Reaper checked all of my catnip boxes and Anya was brave and compassionate. The story had me crying more than once.

My love/hate relationship with Feehan‘s books is leaning more towards love after this one😍 it has the classic rough around the edges alpha male that she does so well but with a bit of sweetness and vulnerability mixed in. A group of Russian born killers escape their hellish childhood to start a motorcycle club in the states. This new series is off to an amazing start😎🔥

I haven‘t read a Christine Feehan book in years and when this popped up on Amazon I thought “why not?” I, someone cringingly, paid the $8 kindle fee (ouch!)

Needless to say I only found this book so-so and not sure I would recommend. Lots of plot holes, weak lead female character, which I never enjoy, and an MC club that I couldn‘t really like.

There goes $8 and a few hours I‘ll never get back. 😕 #disappointed
