When a Duchess Says I Do | Grace Burrowes

This story is a romance but the romance itself took me time to really dive into. The MC‘s were both highly intelligent people and this romance ended up as more of an intellectual one. Though, by the time the end was nearing I was definitely swooning over what had developed between them. Ultimately, what really grabbed my interest was the suspense and mystery surrounding Matilda! Emma and Leslie are two great characters who complement each other quite well. They might not always agree on everything but what they do have is a great working partnership. They also manage to get themselves into some of the craziest situations. There is much humor to be had but the star of this book was the mystery element, there were many moving pieces and it was a fun read. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews

There was much to love while reading this story! I definitely really felt for Kiera‘s character as her past came back to haunt her. There was also quite the mystery behind the death‘s that were whipping all of London into an uproar! It was the type of tale with twists and turns that will fully engage your imagination as the clues lead from one possibility to another. Solving the mystery was spearheaded by both Lena and Camilla but truly all the supporting characters in this story had a part to play in the process. I loved that the story was layers of history that had to be peeled back to bring the events that took place decades before to light. There were many characters to suspect in this murder mystery and it was fun to follow the clues! Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews

There was so much to love in this story! The company really pulled together in order to search for their friend & that led them into many dangerous & unexpected situations. Not only that, it seemed like their foe was always one step ahead of them spoiling their best laid plans. Not only was the story entertaining, it also delved into Lark‘s past & all her secrets were laid bare! Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews

I was expecting a grisly whodunit but this story is truly a notch above what I was ever expecting. The writing portrays every scene in vivid detail! The characters in this story are all quite interesting & add much to the plot but Alice is definitely the star. She will infuriate you, invigorate you, & get so under your skin that you can‘t help but have to know how her story plays out. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews

In this book, Inspector Witherspoon‘s staff are the eyes and ears who help him out behind the scenes by bringing him ever closer to understanding the ghastly murder that had so recently taken place. It was a delightful whodunit and I know that I am looking forward to reading the next mystery that these characters involve themselves in. There were many reveals that took place in this story & they were all major ones for Nadira. There was never a dull moment in this story & the pacing, with the twists & turns, kept me flipping the pages wondering what was going to take place next & hoping that Nadira would be able to handle the next blow. This story was action packed with a nice plot & had a strong finish. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #bookreviewer #TheGenreMinxBookReviews

This story is quite terrifying with how realistic the scenario is. I certainly appreciated the realism that the Author‘s piloting experience brought. Initially, I was chafing at the pace with all the introductions but as the story continued it became exciting to see how all the characters reacted to their situation. There were also twists to the story that added interest and surprise. Full review at www.thegenreminx.com #TheGenreMinxBookReviews
