Oh man, was this pure smut! I‘m pretty sure she had sex for hours and hours every day. Riley is a werewolf and they basically just need to be naked and have sex the week leading up to the full moon. There are vampires in this world and a whole bunch of other magical creatures. A lot of government regulations too. I will continue with this series. Since I liked the world building and characters.

I normally don‘t go over board for high sex booked, but I really enjoyed this one, maybe in a good sort because it was Australian, and Australian PNR isn‘t that common!

Today‘s plan was a drive far into the country. We have not done so in about two months between illness, things coming up, summer heat then a covid scare in our state. But my friends car isn‘t running well so hot coffee and curled up with a book it is. Might not be able to run away for the day but I can escape into a book.

#monstermadness2017 I was going to go with werewolves in general but decided that in some cases (i.e. Cycle of the werewolf) they are not regenerative. However, Elena Michaels and Riley Jenson can heal themselves by shifting usually and are somewhat indestructible. They also have iconic roars, well howls really. #godzilla

When you find a book on your #tbr list at the library and see that it's signed by the #author! Regardless if I like the book or not, I don't think I could ever give a signed copy of ANYTHING away!

#SplashIntoSummerReads #day5 #FaveSiblings I could have chosen more popular siblings like I have in the past (the Weasley clan were the last) but I thought I'd highlight a few less well known characters instead. Riley & Rhoan Jensen are twin dhampires (hybrid werewolf/vampire) who work as Guardians in Melbourne, Victoria. As part of the secret police for other races, they take out the dangerous ones & make sure the rest are following the laws.

Blood Kissed wasn't in the database but it's by the same author. Great paranormal world set in Australia with a pretty good crime that only the heroine can solve. Throw in a werewolf reservation with a hot werewolf police officer, a charmed tea shop and a human familiar for the heroine and you get an action packed 4 star book.

So, I have discovered that here in the U.K. the full moon occurs at 12:32am on the 11th! Conundrum! Do I party Friday night anyway? Or do I make it a lunchtime reading party on the Saturday? Daytime party means I will hardly be reading under the light of the full moon, but it's likely to be overcast anyway. I'll also have to share my snacks with the kids. Hmm. I know! I'll do both! #LitsyPartyOfOne (+family) all weekend! Bring on the books! 😁🎊
