Why did you choose this book: It explains what happens before Godzilla 2014.
Summary:In 1945 XI Nomura and Godzilla wakes up as a result of the first atomic bomb. Over the next few years godzilla starts to hunt down xi nomura all over the world.The military lures both of the monsters to Bikini Atoll where they blow up a hydrogen bomb and then the nomura dies.

pickI‘ve been a Godzilla fan since I was probably a first grader watching the Monster Matinee with my big sister over summer break. Seeing the new movie promos made me want to read the graphic novels for the first time.
This had some excellent Godzilla gratification & some cameos from other monsters from the movies. My favorite part was when a character talks about how great the border wall is and a monster smashes through.
