Pretty good comic on roller derby... But I got a little confused in parts, needed a little more on the characters, and wish the rules of derby were explained earlier than chapter 4. I‘d still read the next volume though. #bookspinbingo

This was really good! I loved the art style and it managed to have conflict while still showing the characters as humans and not villans. I definitely recommend it!

A relaxing week away from work in a lodge in the countryside of Scotland, to read, walk and catch up with myself .... started this with a hot coffee on the side ... I like reading a graphic novel every now and then and really enjoy them.. picked this up at my local library 📚😊👍☕️

You can't get much better then a graphic novel (4 issue comic) about friendship, roller derby, and kicking some ass. This was a really great read and I'd love a follow up with the same characters. 💗

My goal this year is to read 104 books — that‘s one book & one comic trade a week. Since it‘s an election year, I may not make it, but goals are things to strive for!

My first trade of the year is Volume 1 of Slam!, a brightly colored look into Roller Derby and the friendships that are made. I love the artwork, I love the storyline, I love the setting — I can‘t wait for Volume 2!
