This is basically a commencement speech. An inspirational poem. It's really not long.

Lyrical love letter to all the dreamers out there. Just beautiful and uplifting. I officially love everything I read by him.
A quick motivational read. This is a poem/letter about following your dreams. Emphasizing that there are no due dates or expirations and to know you aren‘t alone in the hustle. Very motivational and lovely!
Here are the books I read this year that included poetry. Considering I am a fan, this stack seems short. What are some of your favorite poetry reads? Collections, novels in verse, etc. Looking for recommendations for 2021.
I also read the tagged book; you can see it performed beautifully by the author here: https://826digital.com/for-every-one/
I‘ve read at least a dozen of Mr. Reynolds‘ books and loved them all

I started off listening to this, it‘s short short. Then I bought it to read to my students. Works great as a bedtime story!
Perfect gift for a young person, a graduate, an entrepreneur, anyone contemplating going out into the world to make their dreams come true. Jump in!
I don't often do any sort of poetry, but this was short and sweet, read by the author and about following your dreams. The afterword was particularly good!
#24 A quick little read before I start on laundry lol this one is a poetry book that‘s promised to make me cry...
I read this August 14 & gave it 5 ⭐️ on Good Reads. This is a good book to inspire dreamers, no matter the dream.
I love when a book is timely. The message of this clear, concise and powerful.
Picked up this slim volume by Jason Reynolds. I love his stuff. This is a quick, encouraging read.
For Everyone took me 30 minutes to read. His poetry is honest, enamoring, and full of truth that you will feel the emotions he feels. You can feel your own past experiences creeping up and relating. #poetrygoodness
Y‘all. This is a beautiful letter to humanity. But in three days I will get to hear this man talk about his work!!! Live. In person. OMG i cant wait I can‘t breathe I can‘t wait. #jasonfangirl PS if you haven‘t read Jason Reynolds you need to. Right now. Now. Not kidding.
Jason Reynolds is one of my favorite new writers. 😍 He has such a way with words.
This short, yet powerful letter was written like a poem and read by Reynolds on the audiobook version. I listened to it twice because it was so inspirational. After having to return the book, I decided I have to get my hands on a print copy to read to all my nieces and nephews too.
This book is the reminder you find books when you need them. I was browsing the shelves at a county library that I hadn't been to and I found this book and it called to me. I started it on the bus ride home and damn, does this book feel like exactly what I need right now. And need to own. #amreading #books #poetry #readingintransit
My son's copy of For Everyone by Jason Reynolds. I hope it's helping him remember to be a dreamer. "The courage in trying, the passion in living, and the acknowledgement and appreciation of the beauty happening around us."
This guy knows how to write and this little poeum/letter/rambling says that sometimes at 16 our dreams seemed so possible and at 25 or older they seem so vastly unattainable. But reminds us that we can still dream and still make it and to jump and keep going. Seriously, I love this author.
The book will is short and so lushly written. I though about all of the deadlines we give ourselves that don‘t always pan out. It made me want to dive into the unknown potential trapped inside my own heart.
Quick, inspirational, simply lovely. Reynolds is a master wordsmith and it was a joy to hear that craft applied in this. 4 out of 5 on GR.
My final numbers for 2018, give or take a few. I didn‘t break down the genres in the audiobooks, but there was a little bit of everything. I‘m trying to do a ridiculous number of challenges this year, going into them with fresh hope that I won‘t abandon them like I usually do; semi-required reading for work and borrowed books usually edge things out. I‘m also hoping to do at least one readathon this year, schedule permitting.
Part one of my #18in2018 - there are a few more than 18!
“Dreams don‘t have timelines, deadlines, and aren‘t always in straight lines.”
Next on the audio list.
I can‘t recommend this lovely, inspiring poem enough. Jason Reynolds perfectly expresses his hopes for all who dream. For Every One is just perfect. ❤️📚
Dreams don't have timelines,
Deadlines,
And aren't always in
Straight lines.

My camera person wasn't great, but hey: I met Jason Reynolds today!! Such an awesome guy with so much insight to share in life.
I honestly just found this book by accident while shelving books at the last day of my internship. I don't think I could have found it at a better time. This is a pretty quick read, I finished it in twenty minutes but wow the things it says.
“I don‘t know nothing about that at all.” We‘re all chasing something. This letter, this poem, might be just the thing to help you keep going. And maybe it‘s just the thing for the next person. Reynolds doesn‘t offer solutions, but he does offer inspiration. This was a surprisingly emotional read for me as I sit in my empty classroom thinking of the teenagers I‘ll meet soon, many of whom likely need this kind of encouragement. “Pass it on.” I will
"Dreams don't have timelines, deadlines, and aren't always in straight lines. Jump anyway." Jason Reynolds has written an amazing letter literally for every one. I've recently listened to his track series and decided to kick off #24in48 with this short letter. I'm working the whole weekend, so I will be only in spirit for the readathon with minimal reading whenever I can. What was your first pick for #24in48? ?
I‘ve been making my way through Jason Reynolds‘ work and, needless to say, devouring each one. This one is a stand out, not just because of the format or length, but because it‘s such a strong, passionate, heart felt work of encouragement. There‘s joy in the simple & short, and this is a fantastic read for anyone looking for a bit of inspiration.
A perfect breakfast read. Reynolds‘ poem covers anyone who has ever had a dream— and anyone who‘s considered giving it up. Nothing new content-wise, but the beautiful language and design are probably the push someone needs right now.
