Upgrading this from a 3-star to a 4-star! I enjoyed the plot much more than I did originally — it‘s a bit rambly, but hooks you in nonetheless. I‘m here much more for the characters anyway. On that, Digby & Zoe are hilarious & adorable as ever, with lots of sweet moments & witty banter. I also loved the friendship between Zoe & Sloane — I hope I see more of it in the last book. A light-hearted, comedic teen thriller for V. Mars fans ★★★★☆.
#currentlyrereading | excited about adorable Zoe/Digby shenanigans 😍
Book 5 for #24in48 ... but only because I‘ve only been reading really short books! 😆😆😆
This is book 2 in the Trouble is a Friend of Mine series. I‘ve enjoyed both of them and will need to put the third on hold at the library. This one ended ona cliffhanger!!!
Easily one of my new favorite books. 11/10 recommend for anyone into YA, especially YA suspense. 😍😍😍

"'You know when you're a kid and the grown-ups would spell out thr words so you wouldn't know you were going to the D-O-C-T-E-R?' he said. 'I just realized the last nine years of my life have been like that.'"
You guys, I can‘t explain enough how much I love this series. I had been reading a lot of fantasy lately and reading this series to break that streak was the perfect choice! The characters are hilarious and ridiculous and the plot keeps you on the edge of your seat! 5/5⭐️
A decent follow-up, with the same humor from really intriguing characters. The plot, however, went right through me. This is one of those series where you come for the mystery but you stay for the characters, their wit & their quirks. As such, the mystery wasn't that interesting to me, though it should've been. Still, this Scooby gang was so engaging that I didn't mind it so much. Plus, the finale promises a whole lot more. Can't wait! ★★★☆☆.
Just like the first book, this one has all of the snarky dialogue and adventure as the first. In this installment of the story we finally start to get some answers surrounding the mystery of what happened to Digby‘s little sister. But we don‘t get all of the answers, which is fine by me, because getting there is half the fun!

Bless the Michigan library system! My weekend = made!
The second book in this series did not disappoint!! I love Zoe and Digby so much and I need the next book ASAP!! 5/5 🌟
These teen books are lots of fun! Someone comparing them to Veronica Mars is what convinced me to read them, and I wasn't disappointed!
I had a harder time overlooking and enjoying the unbelievable antics in this one than I did in the first book. I think it's because Zoe and Digby spend the entire book ignoring the elephant in the room (their feelings) while "dating" other people. They are the book's strength and I was bummed with how they handled things. The audio reader was great even if the book itself isn't the best read-a-loud. I'm still invested enough to read a third book.
Me having my outdoor, audiobook zen moment earlier today. It absolutely should not be this warm in February (this is April weather) but if it's going to be warm than I'll get a little vitamin D.
Also, I've recently had a lot of success with audiobooks helping me finish titles I'm struggling to read in print. Finished this one today (review later) and I really liked this narrator. Reminded me a bit of Kristen Bell, always a good thing for me!
This Litten is losing a battle against a persistent cold virus so no party for me, not even a #litsypartyofone. I'm tucking myself in early and listening to this audiobook. I read about half the novel a few months ago but wasn't in the mood for the excessive crazy that makes up Digby's charm. I think it might be perfect for tonight. *fingerscrossed*
Happy introvert party to all participating!
It seems that neither #Septimus nor I can fall asleep tonight... so let's read 🤷🏻♀️#catsofLitsy
Dinner at Macaroni Grill. Disappointing service so far --no love in the bread, water sloshed all over the place--and it's loud. Fingers crossed the food is good.
Alternating between 2 very different reads and quite enjoying the contrast! Hope you're having a happy day, dear Littens!
Settling down with a couple of sequels and a skinny latte at our neighborhood Starbucks. Missing @WanderingBookaneer who is in Miami for the weekend.
"Digby-sized hole in my soul"
D'awww ?
(On a side note, why doesn't the Overdrive app let you highlight?)
Digby's back and trouble shakes up Zoe's life again. Enemies start acting friendly, friends become duplicitous, and the SATs are just around the corner. The chase is on!
Fellow fans will be happy to know our favorite troublemakers will be back in book 3! 😍😍😍
If you need a crazy YA series pick up book one Trouble is a Friend of Mine & thank me later!
I just buried my reading slump. I'm back, baby!! 🤓
The sad state of public school priorities. 🔥🔥🔥
Go, Zoe, go!
Here's hoping the comeback is as good at the original friendship!
Pairing a new bookmark from @Yamich49 via #nopostonsundays with a new book from the library. 😍😍😍 Happy #bookbirthday to Zoe & Digby's next adventure!!
Soon, my precious...soon.
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
Seriously, it's a good thing I have some hardcore ethics or I would have started reading this at work ahead of tomorrow's street date. #librarylife #catalogerproblems
I found the first in this series to be very clever so I'm glad to have the second (via NetGalley). Plus, I keep turning to lighter fare this week.
This first book was so much fun! I can't wait to read the sequel!
SO GREAT!!! The follow up to Trouble is a Friend of Mine, if you want to laugh out loud, fall in love, and have a FABULOUS adventure you NEED to check out Stephanie Tremly
