Today‘s. Prompt: Candy
Found this photo on the app, Typorama.
This is quite clever, and red licorice is a favorite.
Do you like red licorice?
#witchpleaseswap
@mrsmarch had a brilliant idea with this one!
🌽 🍫 Only the candy corn with the chocolate base, Not the traditional ones.
Black licorice is yummy!
Gummy anything is a hit!!
I‘ve been doing good at limiting my intake.
This is an amazing book by my favorite author Evan Hunter aka Ed McBain. The book is two books in one with two different style photographs of the author on both sides of the book.
Evan Hunter writes a novel about a sex addict who is a witness to a murder the ...Ed McBain's book is a police procedural about solving the crime.
I should have walked away from this one. I really don‘t like giving bad reviews because reading is so very subjective; to each their own. This one was not for me and makes me seriously consider taking the other Ed McBain book I have on my shelf off to donate rather than read.
1. Another thumbs down to black licorice (and black licorice jelly beans...always the ones left over)
2. Middlemarch—also the only book of October. But still awesome
3. Pasta (does that count as a cuisine?)
4. Four first cousins because I only have them on one side of my family. We don't procreate much, evidently.
5. Sure thing! 😊

The grocery store has already started switching the Halloween aisle to Christmas. 😡The munchkins will have to make do with this.
1. Black licorice. Bleh.
2. The Power. (But my book count in October is pretty low)
3. Italian all the way, every day!
4. I have 11 first cousins, but none of us are close.
5. ❤️❤️❤️Give it a try @Bks4Wrms @TrishB @Mommamanzi @dariazeoli @leslieseidel
Thanks for the tag @Cinfhen !!❤️
1. Candy corn always reminds me of Halloween, but I think it‘s disgusting. I loved this song on the Noggin channel when my kids were little and I still sing it every October.
2. I‘m planning to read The Hotel New Hampshire next, it‘s our book club pick & I‘m hoping to finish it in time 🤞
3. Dark chocolate all the way!
4. I‘m not allergic to anything! Lucky me!
5. The empty plastic cereal container (top) that I‘m using to prop my phone up.
This one is up next. It has been on my shelves for probably 15+ years. An old Mystery Guild “forgot to return the slip” accidental purchase. A novel written in two parts by Ed McBain & Evan Hunter, who are in fact the same person. On a quest to clear some of my overflowing bookshelves. I am having a tough time getting into it...but from the reviews I read, I need to stick it out because the second half gets better.
